I personally like to see shit just CRUSHED and not all from the same person. If people didn't side bust at all nothing would ever get crushed. Don't sidebust a spot in an area where someone has had something running for a minute, if that spot usually gets buffed often. Let it run, because sidebusting there will no doubt bring the buff. But find the spots that don't get buffed as often, and have everyone hit that spot, sidebust all you want. Because the buff there is already discouraged, so huge amounts of graff may further discourage it, and everything may run longer because of the sidebusting. mbrando Posted December 21, 2003 Share Posted December 21, 2003 alright now hi everyone...long time listener, first (and last) time caller...well, i guess it's pointless to criticize what anyone has to say or come off all knowing but i think graffiti is in a sad state these days, especially in seattle and especially on the internet..here...this is not the place to discuss personal matters or your graffiti beef or flex your attitude or be a dick...there is a vicious cycle of being shitheads to other writers and no one seems to care about making a community where we can all progress and boost eachother..the funny thing is is that the kids that are sidebusting (to speak my opinion on a recent subject), and they are sidebusting, are tomorrows kids that are going to start beef over sidebusting kids...and instead of teaching and nourishing these guys and actually changing something, i see beef in order to raise one's image...there are too many kids who don't respect graffiti writing graffiti...to me it's about freedom, rebellion against a society that i can see through, and building a name for myself in a community of people with similar interests. i love painting, and i love bombing, but i want to do it for myself and for people who respect graffiti and don't just love themselves and hate everyone else...and oh yeah, i'm diggin that joey flick, graffiti at it's purest, all politics aside...and yes i have bombed and no i'm not just a legal eagle or a blackbook kid for those of you who can't listen to anyone unless they've 'proven' themelves...(half these kids could do some proving of their own anyway)...PEACE Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
