That came out pretty good, not sure if you'd dig this idea but I'll type it anyway. Tape off the frame and whats already painted in the middle and hit up the outside, and around the corners with red paint and a little foreground like in the middle.

There is no such thing as cheating, unless the rest of you are hand painting these photo's with paint you made from scratch I'm sure there is technology involved.

This is the 50 mm F/1.8, the aperture lets me get shots in shit lighting without a flash.

I'm using a 1.8 now, I tried my friends 1.4 and didn't like it. Basically with both of those lenses the auto focus is flawless in good light. As soon as you need the wide aperture because of low light the auto focus isn't any good. Everything I shoot with it in dark or low light, is using manual and I found the 1.4 to be too wide. You'll miss most of your shots if you rely on auto focus in the dark. Even for you're eyes getting the perfect focus in the dark is tough.

Yea, I copped the SB 600 like a year ago, it's got a lot of features. I'm still not dialed into using all of them yet.

If you plan on getting a camera with a full frame FX format sensor in the future a DX lens will work most of the time, but the edges of the photo will come out shitty.
