Not anywhere near any major city on the east coast that I have seen, in the last 4+years of really looking, have carried it. The smaller towns might... Cats over here don't even know about it really. It's huge in the Midwest and west coast, but not really on the east anymore.

^^WHAAA?? Found some Griffin. It's the best "out of the box" retail, non graffiti, ink I have ever seen. It's a scuff dye for shoes. The black is darker than a nightmare at sea. Goddamn this shit rocks. Just sayin.

^^I also found some. And I can tell you that, for outsides or insides, Griffin black is the most amazingly dark ink/dye I have ever used. It's blacker than BLACK and stains instantly. I will provided some flickage later on in the next few. It's by far the most amazing tool/ink to use. Clean lines that drip in the best ways and like I said before... BLACKER THAN BLACK!!

I mixed paint in the early 90's. It was the only way to match the constantly discontinued colors... Foneiz2... You're a complete fucking tool. Go kill yourself or something to that sort.

Paint thinner will not get out the stains. Only works with paint.

Not to add to the demise of this thread, but word just came down that NEHI plans on coming down to DC and clearing up the issue of who is the real NEHI. Somehow I managed to miss the fact that NEHI has been writing in WINS crew from Minneapolis since the 90's. The irony is thick, but I still feel like it's totally a freak coincidence. Either way... The older NEHI is in up north right now, but plans to make a trip down. Just a heads up.

I hear that! My dream is to have a perfect bowl somewhere close that I can rock out on like an old-school hesian. Mullet, sleeveless flannel, budwiser, big knee pads and all! When I was a kid those dudes would creep out of the wood work. I even caught a few carving fast as shit at FDR like 9 years ago! It was very memorable. I was joking them then, but now I know they where old and living the life!

I'm nearly 30 and I have been stretching... That shit works! The more flexy your are, the less injuries you get. Just gotta do those stretches.

It's been over 5 years since I have been able to skate everyday, and the last time I skated, about a year ago seriously, I almost was better than I remembered. I couldn't ollie that high at all, but on a low bar that someone had, I was all on some nollie and switch shit! That was the last time because that one day killed my knee for months. Now I'm fixed and getting ready... I can't wait to skate everyday again! Congrats on quiting the smoking too!

Spirits/Thinner for Oil Based Paint. Alcohol for Alcohol based inks. The pen ink is Alcohol based. Start over again. Don't put the alcohol in with the mix you have. It shouldn't work. Start from scratch. Good luck.

^^Good point. You're totally right about it being a well know thing, but I don't know of single person on the east coast that ever used it much. I don't think it was a popular over here as it was in mid-west, south-west and west coast cites. Same thing with the mini/ultra wides... Criticism on this statement please. Any older dudes on the east use Griffin in the late 80's - 90's?

PLEASE... USE GLOVES WITH THAT STUFF. It's not going to kill you, unless you have some sort of allergy and you shouldn't be handling chemicals at all, and its your fault if it does kill you. If you are just worried about getting the incriminating stain off of your hands... I wish I could be present for everyone that has to do this... You have to get a Synthetic pumas stone. The real thing will cut you up. They sell them in beauty supply shops, and they look like a piece of colored Styrofoam that is rough to the touch. Take that, some warm water and a gentle hand soap and you have to scratch off the top layer of skin to get DED Inside Job (all colors), or Oink, off your hands. You see, the chemicals attack anything porous, like your first layer of skin. You just gotta take it off. You wont bleed with the synthetic Pumas stone because it breaks off before your skin does. Your skin will be pink for a couple of hours, but the ink stains WILL GO AWAY. This is very helpful if you are worried about getting caught later "red handed" so to speak. Good luck people.
