  1. Just make sure that if you/anyone mixes ANYTHING with etch... that you do it with your face and hands protected from the fumes that might happen and to be in a well ventilated area. In all the years of etch use... At least 20... You/anyone should ask yourself, why hasn't anyone made this work yet? India ink is great on paper and non- toxic in your skin. As a staining, fast drying, all-around tool for writing on things and expecting it to last... It sucks. But... Fuck that. You got it, so use it. Find some RIT dye, it's water based, and add some to the india ink. It wont thicken it up, but it will make it stain a little. Put it in a window marker, after cleaning it out, and then hit the town. It's perfect practice. And if you are complete toy and actually stick with it for more than a year... you won't have to look at that terrible shit you just wrote 6 months back. I just found a couple of tags from a couple of years ago, and I REALLY need to diss them with my current touch. Same name, just better. Just do it. When the India Ink runs out... get some oil based bucket paint and mix in some thinner. That's it. Good luck.
  2. You are not even ready for this shit:
  3. ^^Did you keep the stock nib that come in it? You can replace it and get a much better flow.
  4. Oh yeah... This is what a ghost looks like: If your tag doesn't dry like this, then you are not getting a ghost. This is without fish oil, or DOT3.
  5. Good for you for trying it out yourself instead of waiting for an answer. The ink spreading that you found is a good thing. I call it "attack." There are some quality ink's out there that have high attack and it's pretty fresh. Was the surface you wrote on horizontal or vertical? If you write on a vertical surface, like a wall, the attack will not be on all sides and gravity will pull down making excellent drips during the drying time. Some of the best drips happen well after you are done. These are the tags that drip but don't turn into an obnoxious blob of boring. They are legible. Good work.
  6. ^^You're a mark. Don't talk about things you don't know about. That Soke is from MPLS and runs in the MidWest. Bump that car.
  7. If you steal from a theif, you can just call it a gift. Like Rob'in Hood and shit.

    Kuma!

^^Are you from a farm in North Carolina?
  9. That's a very interesting post... Thanks for the info!
  10. That car has MPLS, Philly, and L.A. East, Mid, and West. It's like a whole new world... Dope!
  11. Oink and DED insides both do what this marker does. They are so loaded with stainers that if you paint over them, even if the ink is has been dry for week, the paint gets stained from the inside out. I have personally seen this happen in multiple spots. If it's a darker color then it doesn't work so well, but any light color buff will get the bleed through on the first two coats. Was interesting to watch.
  12. But NOT over the internet. You could be a DT... or from the looks of it a DT's kid. Nobody knows. Don't discuss anything specifically over the internerd. Way too many eyes. Doing what you did is like walking into a room full of people you don't know and asking for help in committing a crime. If this is your first time on the internet... now you know. Are you Richmond1?
  13. Needed to Bump to this page. That OFACE is amazing!
  14. ^^That's a funny comment. Stop typing. M_I: Richmond's social scene far supersedes that of the writing scene, but there is one here. Nobody really challenges nobody so there's not a lot of writing going on. I love it here, and would have trouble finding anyone that doesn't enjoy it here. This town needs inspiration.
  15. Check it... This is an older technique also. Just make a cotter pin for the felt. Use a paper clip. Just put two small holes in the neck of the bottle, put the felt in and force the paper clip through the hole, the felt, and back out the other hole. Bend em back and tape the shit out of it with electrical tape or the self vulcanizing tape discussed earlier. That will hold the felt in and let you squeeze and push the mop. To really have this work, you have to have a good amount of the felt inside the bottle. Good luck.
  16. Dear God... If there was one. Not Mild... hahaha!!
