  2. revolutionary road. decent.
  3. i love my kindle i would not have purchased it, it was a gift but being able to carry my entire music library and a massive book selection on vacation with me was simply unbeatable. we don't check bags and do a lot of walking, so the space even one paperback takes up can seem like too much when i know there's a good chance i'll finish it before the trip is even over. they probably won't ever replace cookbooks for me, or coffee table books, but they serve an amazing purpose. porpoise. and anyone who isn't into them can continue to go to bookstores and swap books and pay money for them i will add them to the list of shit i no longer pay for ILB maybe i'lll check that one out. looks cool
  4. holy fuck deleting endless spambots and so much spam. fucking sucks

  8. i didn't really care for key west mainly good for getting drunk, noi good beach i knew a bachelor party who went to cuba and loved it never been myself i would love to go to south america right now i'm in the planning stages, i am for sure going to buenos aires and i'm probably going to add a second destination from the following: montevideo, santiago, rio, quito, lima, caracas sadly i think finances will make that decision
  9. there's people that don't like the freights they do to be directly linked to their location it's not complicated folks thought their spots were gettin blown up, i got PMs and c'mon, this has always been brickslayers, a wall section as for the ads, something has to pay for the site, the bandwidth to post all this crap is just not free i don't care for it either but this shit doesn't come out of my pocket as for the spam, use the goddamn report button they don't always work, but they usually do, and we do the best we can to get to it we can't be everywhere at once so we need members to let us know if there is spam we haven't deleted. mods are not paid, after all. and for chrissakes, quoting the bots? i just got to that fuckers posts but then someone has to quote the shit. sheeesh, you are not helping.
  10. anything goes, i'm a huge fan of tripadvisor type in your travel dates, select how much you can pay, and read some reviews http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotels-g60795-Philadelphia_Pennsylvania-Hotels.html#T_CAT_HOTEL_MOTEL
  11. vienna--> istanbul--> bucharest--> budapest--> zurich--> paris--> london was great, no tummy problems, plenty of good times even got some shit dun. did it all in one bag that i could carry everywhere we walked probably my best piece of travel advice. we almost had to fight with Austrian Air, but in the end didn't check any bag.
  12. seriously. i don't like kerouac but consider mccarthy a literary genius yes, the style is challenging sometimes, but for me it completes the mood. and his books are far more full of emotional depth than kerouac.. for me, anyway i finished count of monte cristo on night trains through europe it was worth the read, the second half seemed to pick up some steam. there were a little too many serendipitous coincidences for my taste in the revenge scheme though and dumas never really properly elucidates how this guy is able to make such a complete transition from humble fisherman to upperclass omniscient. too bad too, because i feel some of it could have easily been explained, but the abbe doesn't exactly train him to operate in high society. oh well. done. i then proceeded to tear through the hunger games it took me one day to read book 1, one night to read book 2 and if i hadn't fallen asleep and then gotten airsick on the plane, i'd probably been done with 3. pretty awesome for 'teen-oriented' books. easy peasy reads.
  13. NO FREIGHTS OR FREIGHT DISCUSSION IN THIS THREAD your posts will be deleted repeated infractions=banned thanks for your cooperation
