Start doing words, don't just practice what you write, try out new words, find what flows and get a feel for other letters as well.

I'm not feeling those letters, but with some minor adjustments you can change that, like how there crooked and shit on some parts of the letters. Just straighten them up and it should be real nice. Theres not much flow with it, your forceing some curves. Although I'm feeling its simplicity and how clean the colors are. Edit:Post some more of your work up, currious to see it.

Pfft everybody forgets the colorvision. Here montana is 8$ a can. I don't have that kind of money expecialy cause I mainly do peices. I find colorvision is nice and thick, and has a fairly dope selection of colors. So I use that. Rustoleum is my all time favorite for bombing, that shit lasts.

Practice anywhere but at home. School was a pretty dope place to draw when I was in highschool, unfortunatly thats why I didn't do very well.

I dont like your 3d. letters on the otherhand are pretty nice. and ekso, stop spreading them so far apart.

I can't stress enough how newcomers to the graff game need to start SIMPLE. I know you want to be dope in a week, we all wish we could be dope that fast, but the fact is, it wont happen. You need to begin at the basics. Take skateboarding for example, you not going to try to go down the halfpipe the second you step on the board, the same goes for begining in graff. Start with nice straight simple letters, almost like whats on your keyboard. Look at some other simples just for reference for how close you want your shit to be, not too close, but not too far. I spent a year wasteing my time on trying to go wildstyle right away. Needless to say it got me nowhere, and if I had spent that first year starting simple I'de probably have a years more experience. And you don't have to have wildstyle letters to have a style in general. I respect a nice clean simple peice with style as much as I respect a nice wildstyle peice. So start simple, I guarentee you that you'll get alot further in the graff game if you start simple. If you want to take my advice, then great, if you dont and you still want to try wildstyle lettering right off the bat, then whatever, but don't expect to get very far.

Yeah it's good to mess around with different caps, but like, the first time you go out don't just use a german outline and not make an attempt to learn stocks first. I remember I bombed with stocks for about a year, meanwhile I was developing my style, and the first peice I did came out real nice. Wish I had a flick. Oh and also, the first time you go out for those who may not have painted yet, don't blow all your money on montana, and do some whack shit and have wasted your money, start with rustoleum or krylon, personaly it only makes sense to use montana for peiceing, their like 8 bucks a can here.

I'm sure this has been said, sure caps are useful, but learn stocks first, spend at least a year with them, I guarntee after a year of useing stocks and you start useing caps, everything will be alot easier.

I personaly couldn't give half a fuck about clothes, my reqirements are, they have to be baggy and have alot of pockets, for the soul fact that I shove everything in my pockets, to the point that they weight like 10 pounds cause of all the shit in my pockets, and cause I like to put paint in my pants pockets when I'm bombing, otherwise I don't care. But yeah Mark ecko is a douche. With this game, a bunch of little kids are going to go out with paint they bought with their allowance money and try doing shit without even hitting a sketchbook. From what I saw of the game trailer its real whack, like fuck, this guy just jumping onto a moving subway train at pull speed then putting one of his whack bombs on the train and then proceeding to jump off the train at full speed. As for this roomate buying his clothes to show some fake bomber respect, why do you need to buy this guys clothes to have respect for him?

I remember this one time, when I was like 12, me and about 5 of my friends, and my friend alans little brother were walking down this one street to go to some place with old semi parts (we liked to fuck shit up there). On the way there I picked up this cinderblock and dropped it through the windshield of this car. We walked away to the place with the old semi part. I guess some guy walking his dog saw and followed us in. It was about 11 at night. We went in and we were fucking up the old front driver area of this old ass semi, I went to the back of one of the trailer of one. This guy yelled a "Hey you kids come out here". Well we get bitched at by people working near there all the time so I thought nothing of it. So we came out and hes like, "I saw one of you put a cinderblock through one of the car windshields", then he pointed at me and said "yeah your the one" come here, I proceeded to tell him to fuck off so he said, lets go im calling all your parents. as we started to walk, my friends brother who was about 10 at the time proceeded to pick up this rusted pipe from off the ground and bashed this guy in the back of the head, the guy let go of his dog and his dog ran away, and we all took off. We must of hid in this one persons back yard for 2 hrs that night before we left.
