yeah, thats my head. its true that there are different types of drinking problems. just because you don't drink every day doesn't mean you don't have a problem. if you drink to excess everytime you do drink then you have a problem. i wasn't trying to get into a dick measuring contest about how bad my prblem was, i was just stating that it was bad, and i didn't get help and suffered the consequences...meh, if you're able to control you're drinking and do it socially then more power to you.

yeah, hindisight is 20/20 from where i sit now. i should have completed the program in order to avoid future problems. alcoholism runs in my family and it affects every aspect of your life. i edited a photo in my last post. drinking is fun until you're laying in the icu..

a couple years ago i had an experience with this sort of situation. i interviewed at a rehab program and i wasn't material yet, but if i kept on the path i was on i would be there for sure. that wasn't a wake up call and i continued to drink. now after a near death experience relating to drinking i have resolved to quit. 3 weeks sober and counting...holler[/img]

yeah you can do the driver improvement course online, and it is endorsed by the dmv, here in FL at least. and i do believe upon completion of the course the points are deducted from your license and the ticket is expunged sp?. sucks about the ticket, happy birthday anyhow.. cheers

I'm still in the process of rebuilding my computer and it came to my attention that i need to replace the cpu. the old one was a amd athlon xp 2500+. i can't find that same chip new/slightly used to save my life so i was wondering: are todays chips able to fit older mobo's, socket wise. the old socket is a 462 and the new are 939 or 7 something...i built the computer almost 2 years ago and bought almost all identical components, maybe i should have just upgraded everything :shakehead:

heres a bit of a situation. i spilled orange juice in my computer tower about a week ago afterwards now picture would display, just colors in a pixilated form. after buying a new video card and monitor cable, im still getting no picture. could my monitor and/or motherboard or other components be screwed as well? i think im going to have to just rebuild my whole god damn system.. any ideas are appreciated :(

I for one grew up primarily in the suburbs but that didn't save me from getting the belt or the fist (open and closed, thank you) every once in a while. granted mom was more of a talker and sometimes a yeller she handed out her share of open hand smacks across the face. and i don't believe it has any bearing on how you act either. imho though thats it

this happened to me and a friend of mine although a bit different we were both intoxicated and got pulled over, we both breathalized and he did a few field sobriety tests, which he failed so he got the dui and the whole nine i got off with poss. of alcohol by a minor and an open container here in sunny FL its automatic 1 year license revocation if you refuse breathalizer and so thats not really the way to go being charged with a dui he got 12 months probation, 6 months without his license and 50 hrs com. service. however hes eligible for a hardship after a month so whatever bottom line....drinking and driving isn't smart :shakehead:

I stated clearly that I wasn't driving, although yes, we both had been drinking. as for the restraining order, its not because i stalked her or anything of that nature, i got into an altercation with one of her male friends and she felt threatened. alcohol didn't play a part in it, and no i wasn't "dumbed" you clown. i guess its just my turn to get the shaft for awhile before things get better :rolleyes:

So far the year looks like this for me 1. got pulled over drinking and driving (i wasn't driving) 2. broke up with amazing gf 3. failed english IV, no diploma until after summer semester 4. restraining order injuction from ex girl- court date scheduled for late june man what the fuck, this year better pick up pretty soon or im going to drink myself into a coma hows the year looking so far for you fellas

I'll be in the bahamas in less than a week and half and i can't fucking wait...anyone been that wants to share a few "must do's" or anything like that? :cool:
