Heh, oldtimers talking about GTI. Guilford changed their name to Pan Am Railways (PAR) a couple years back. Then more recently they partnered with NS to create an entity called Pan Am Southern (PAS) which now encompasses the western half of PAR (ex-GTI) territory (Mohawk to Ayer, Mass.). I don't know what effect the merger/partnership has had on Albany area traffic, although I imagine it would get busier (or else why would NS invest in the place).

Lot of Twist/Matokie streaks on those STEs. I had to skip painting the first two of these that laid up gettable near me for panels full of worthwhile streaks. I think I got my first STE panel in 07 or 08, looks like it might be my last. Whoever got those pre-scrapper flicks, if they're still there might be worth a microscope look for old streaks.

You don't understand because you're a herb. As a moderator on this site I rarely call people out, but with that comment you file yourself in one of two wack categories: 1. You don't know the Sane/Smith story. 2. You know the story but don't care. I don't know which one bothers me more, a lack of knowledge, or a lack of respect. I usually hate white outlines on white cars with no forcefield, even if there's a partial cloud. But that ISTOISM blazes too hard to quibble about.
