  1. I've meant to pick up FIFA, but funds have been lacking. On the other hand, I'm ready to splurge for GT4 next week.
  2. not enough to be very happy, but just enough to buy a plane ticket for vacation.
  3. Start earning the pound and you'll be swimming in cheddar. I think I would dig London mostly because of the diversity.
  4. Asian girls in Boston? Yeah. It's not just because of colleges, though. Have you ever put immigration into consideration? Boston is by far the best city I have ever visited...many times. I think I will live there someday. MBTA is one of the top notch transit authorities in the U.S. I have no desire to go to NYC, California, Texas. North Concord, NH - Besides a great view of Mt. Washington and the others, it sucks. Typical tourist town. You will want to commit suicide after staying for two days. Don't knock the midwest - MPLS/STP keeping it live. I haven't been to Chicago yet... I've been to Ames, IA. Friend lives there - it is shitty. Country, nowhere neat to go, and white people EVERYWHERE. Raver kids. Annoyances. Driving on the highway through it is interesting, if you like to make observations. Nothing but old people driving other old people in their big body Buicks to God knows where and redneck kids travelling at 90 MPH while talking on cell phones. Never catch a layover flight in Chicago Midway Airport. I would suggest not visiting anyplace in the U.S. where urban sprawl has taken place, on a large level that is. All you will get is middle America, highways, lack of public transit, and lack of diversity and culture. Weak clubs, weak music, and weak food - chain restaraunts. Unless you're a fan of Applebee's/TGIF/Ruby Teusdays/etc
  5. Thanks for the addition :jpotato:
  6. Based on observation: I would definitely stay in London. The public transit system seems to be very effective and one of the best in the world (tube). Most U.S. cities lack in that department, we're all forced to drive everywhere. More diversity, too. Food is shit from what I hear. Music is excellent. Beer, too. I've read/seen/heard that crime is bad in London city. They have better senses of humour. Watch the House of Commons on t.v. (tely). It is a riot. Beats the hell out of Congress. If you start making moves, make sure you got the cheddar because the exchange rate will decimate your papes by half. And fly British Airways. They serve wine and full meals on their flights.
  7. You NEED antibiotics. They give you horse pills, dude. I've had horrible strep numerous times. It is actually all I really tend to get as far as illness goes. You should really get something done about it because it will just get worse or not go anywhere if you don't. I'll tell you the worst thing about not seeing a doctor is when your throat closes up and you can't breathe for a few seconds and you panic the fuck out. Fucks you up.
  8. I had that video laying around somewhere. I am pretty sure I don't have it anymore. Let's see... Mostly everyone dropped a pretty hot verse. Redman, Method Man, Special Ed, Chubb Rock, MC Serch (eh), Craig Mack...all I can remember. To the tune of Das Efx "Real Hiphop"
  9. He has Parkinson's disease. Not much he can do about it.
  10. They drive on the left side, homey. If that has anything to do with it.
  11. I had a rainbow shit the other day. Didn't When have a story where he took a girl out to his ride where she caused him to shit himself during sex? I think he left and came back to find her sticking her face into it or something..
  12. I couldn't help but laugh at this one ^^
  13. I find it funny. I guess people realize that it is stupid that they adopt these cheesy names and throw themselves on the internet as 18 year olds when they are really....24 or something.
  14. It's nice to not live by the Atlantic, in NE , that is. We only got about 6"-7" of nice powder here in Minneapolis, but it still managed to bring most of the city to its knees.
  15. If high-speed rail were an option, I'd fucking use it. But it really isn't. Americans are kind of stuck. Japan has those ill, completely electric Shinkasen trains. Germany has their ICE trains. Eurail, etc. We're far behind.
  16. Beer - anytime. Wine - BETTER. Hot shower. Sitting on the couch/listening to music/smoking cigarettes with ya lady with comfortable silence - REALLY GOOD. Sex.
  17. I immediately picked up the philosophical "feeling" of your post. And big up to Gat for dropping Aristotle - I'll have to check it out for myself. Pretty profound, Giving. I feel as I am on the same wavelength as you, in terms of self. Unfortunately, I won't be much help, as my thoughts are scattered. I think in short bursts, and with some luck, I can manage to salvage my previous thoughts and build from them. I just haven't taken the time for myself to stop, breathe, think, collect, write, discuss. But whatever, I am crazy. Most constructive post, ever.
  18. Most of that line-up sounds pretty ridiculous. I guess shit like that only happens in NYC..
  19. God don't like to get screamed on...even if that's how he really talks.
  20. Yeah, how about that fucking snow. I was on a city bus for almost three hours as a result. --- Friday: Got out of class. A lot of snow. Stuck in the house; no car. Saturday: Sleep in late. Do nothing. 12oz. Do nothing. Buy a 12pack and a bottle wine to get drunk with friends. Sunday: Work meeting at 9 AM - will be hungover. Come home and sleep. Study maybe - community college is such a waste of my time. ATHF, or whatever. I don't know.
  21. Airbus is the future. Fuck a twenty year old Boeing or McDonnel-Douglas. And the whole ho-hum about pollution is retarded. If you compare the US's highway system (look at an atlas if you're too dumb) to Europe's, there is quite a difference. Public transportation is retarded here. I still don't understand why we're not rocking full electronic intercity trains like Germany or Japan. Yeah, there is the Acela Express, but that's shit. Fucking lobbyists won't let society progress because it will thin out their wallets.
  22. BBC = British Broadcasting Corp. = British Their DJs really aren't that bad - well known throughout the region. They travel the world as well.
  23. It's Europe man. Many countries influence eachother. Eiffel designed and built a bridge in Oporto spanning the Rio Douro. Lisbon also has one or several Paris Metropolitain entrance arches within the city, I believe. One big difference is that the French eat less, whereas Portuguese eat lots of potatoes, seafood, dried salt cod, pastries and drink lots of beer and wine. French colonial rule? The Portuguese were worse than the French when it came to colonialism. Brazil and Macau (I think) in China. Portugal was also basically where most of all great ocean navigators came from. ---- So you didn't go to Oporto? Man... Lisbon has been on my list for awhile. My grandfather is from the Azores (Açores)....so I've been interested in travelling there for some time. Looks like you made it to Sintra, too. Afterall, it is one of the outer lying areas of Lisboa.
