That attachment didn't work because it has no file type. Images on the web have to end in '.jpg' or '.png' or '.gif' depending on the file type. I'm actually looking into a solution that either auto detects or at least warns you when posting image attachments that are missing the file type, but for now... Make sure you attach images that have the proper file type in the name.

@replicant2009 Just a heads up that you can batch upload up to 12 images on the new forum. Just drag them into the reply field and then hit the button at the top of the list of attachments that says to 'insert all as thumbnails'.

actually a great way for lurkers to become 'regulars' is joining in on the myspace thread. skimming myspace for funny shots or hot chicks and posting in there, or simply replying to what others have posted is a quick way to build up a post count while having fun and still flying under the radar for a while.

wow, definitely a lot more lurkers then i ever thought. i mean, i've noticed how there are perpetually more guests then members on the board, which seems unusual compared to other boards i go to. for some reason people that visit 12oz are happy to just watch. i guess the reason might be because most boards i've seen are designed around teh idea of getting some sort of help or advice (computer tech and programming for example). i'm glad the new guys are finally taking the opportunity to speak up and participate. seems like this thread is a pass to say hello for the first time without the usual 12oz hazing that goes with it. in reality, it's the people that participate that make this place great, so it really depends on you guys joining in instead of lurking. anyhow, this thread has become a free pass to start posting without the usual hazing (not that those are really that big a deal), so speak up and join in... good to see some new people stopping by.
