geezpot
Why does this site archive all the really old threads? Why not delete them after a few years. It seems pointless to have over so many really old threads. This is 12 ounce not packrat ouncer!
PUMPKIN ESCOBAR
So people can bump these useless threads for no reason. Duh.
geezpot
Now that 12oz has reached the million post march I think the mods need to start dumping all the pack ratted really old threads? MisterRaven will probably save money running this site if he dumped old threads. The more room you use archiving junk means you probably pay more in web space hosting. guerillaeye
its not that much space.. only the words are saved.. everything else is programmed format.

geezpot
its not that much space.. only the words are saved.. everything else is programmed format. I still think anything past 300 pages is wasted space(800+ pages is ridiculous?). We're talking about 500-600 pages with 40 threads a page that can be deleted and god knows how many posts in each threads? It could be around 750,000 posts which seems like a lot of space. Why keep them around?
Obvious
archived posts are good for the site. gives it history. plus people may have liked old threads and don't want to see it lost forever. if you don't want to read it then don't bump it.
