    breaking all the rules

    Discussion started by Fr8G - Sep 26, 2004

These rules people come up with are really gay. I say paint over the numbers and Fuck the rest. If toys can't get up in a hot spot and you can, you've won. I did it and I'm still painting that spot. I've painted that spot when it was the chill'st spot and when it was the hottest spot. I've painted there for over 7 yrs. even after some fr8 legends (some writers that have been writing over 15 yrs) came into my spot and got busted over some stupid shit. If I told you who they were I garuntee every one in the US, Canada, and Mexico would know who I'm talking about. But I'm not in the habit of naming names, and if i did the cops would be knocking down my door. bottom line is I started graff to get away from rules and defy the odds. If that's not why you're writing, I would question if you are doing it for the right reasons.

    Ten Commandments
    in tha hip hop scriptures

    I. Thou shall not bite.
II. Thou shall not side bust
III. Thou shall not make spots hot.
IV. Don't go Over my piece(but i can go over yours).
    V. Dont go Over the Numbers.
VI. Don't buy your paint with a gold credit card.
    VII. No Shameless self promotion
VIII. no Painting other peoples spots.
IX. leave good box cars for good writers.
    X. Toys Go Home!!

I have compelling arguments against most of these rules, except for #1. The main argument here is like I said above is " i don't like rules." I am going to paint any fr8 I want, any time, any where. So writers beware, I did my thing and there's more to come. If you want to follow a set of rules why are you doing graffiti? Don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for people who been in it for a minute. but don't for a second think that I am going to stop breaking the rules just because some body wants to front on me because they don't like what I do or how i do it. Now What?!?!?

everyone bites everyone else. that's why you have a force field around your letters. that's why you use a drop shadow or 3d. that's why you put different color circles in your letters. that's one one letter is a different color from the rest. thats why i've seen your letters 100 times before.

this is stupid, people refrain from doing those things for a reason, why don't you break free from the letters rule too, and throw paint at stuff instead?

rule 1 of the emo scripture....hook up a girl on your piece on the left side..then on the right side, write why she broke your heart and how you woke up wishing you were dead today...

rule 2: bubbles are played out...tears are the new bubbles...rock some tears...

That's cool and all..............but I'm kind of curious as to what the point of this thread is???? An emancipation of self? A giant "FUCK YOU" to the scene? I don't get it! Is he talking to himself?

the ten commandments of heavy metal

1- put drips of red in your fill in so that it looks like blood
2- come in my spot and paint on the numbers and get robbed, painted on your face with your own paint and lined every time i see your shit piece
3- dress in black with a cape if possible
4- make fun of hip hop wannabees
5- dont paint up the bar, paint everything and sides of ridges as well as bottom of the door
6- shout out multiple metal bands around your piece
7-black outline, or black fill, there's gotta be black
8- clean up your garbage when your done, beer, cans, drips on rocks, etc
    9- hate, always hate
    10- fuck fat girls
