CALIgula Posted August 28, 2007 Share Posted August 28, 2007 there was this tamale place in "the ghetto" that used to make really good raisin cinnamon tamales (i know i know....it was made for the white crowd...but it was delicious)... but they closed up shop... i guess its cause they were in the middle of the black ghetto....and not the mexican ghetto. (sp) theyre plain corn masa tamales but they have a bit of a sweet taste. most people eat them with atole in the morning. good stuff. the holiday season is around the corner...that means tamale time!! :D Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
