transparent Posted September 1, 2006 Share Posted September 1, 2006 I think that's because the scouts are lazy and would rather travel from college to college instead of from country to country.. this is somewhat true...most scouts are pretty old guys and they had their careers start in a united states college so they feel somewhat partial to getting alot of those guys a shot in the NBA...not to mention the money floating around to all these schools when guys go pro and the money these scouts make off them if they do pan out...but all the teams in the NBA have overseas scouting operations and constantly have guys over there watching those players....the NBA the last few years has really opened up to alot of euro guys tho if you watch the draft and it is only going to increase...
