Here are 2 different type's of respirators for only $10 each. These are military issue - and I myself have the OM10. They work fantastic. Get 2 of them, or one of each, while youre at it. You can easily rack or buy a 3m respirator, get the organic type with organic filters! So paint safe or enjoy having a shitty life Edit: For the 3M respirator I'd recco the 6000 or 7000 series, they rock well - just don't get the ones with only dust filters and make sure that you can replace the filters - no point spending money on something your going to throw away in a month. And replace you filters every 3 months or (so the panphlet with my 3M reccos (P95 Filters)) after approx 40 hours of use (they also say within a month, whatever comes first - but if you keep it in a ziplock bag then in an airtight tupperware container) (thats a long fucking edit) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm gonna try spray painting for my church youth group. I currently have one can of black satin (krylon), and I have tried doing letters, but the cap sucks and it comes out in a "l" shape. So I asked my parents to take me to Vancouver to stock up on a bunch of stuff. I'm thinking of buying a white, green (apple) and bright orange. Green will be the fill in, and orange for outline. I almost know what I'm going to start with. I currently have two throwups? idk the word for it lol. One is in a Cope style, and the other is harder. The Cope style one I can do easy, but the other looks better. I'm probably gonna get killed for being so lame and not knowing anything, but I'm more for the painting and practicing than for learning the names lol. So kids take care your health or do whatever you want it's your choice. Now i have 3m masks when i paint walls. When i paint steel i don't wan't use masks, it feels that way better... I'm a Christian, not a frikkin six year old priest. And you can't confess for something someone else has done o.O And if you'd have read the bible at least once, you'd know that Jesus died. Not God. Particle masks only filter particles like dust/dirt/etc. Vapor masks filter, yep you guessed it, vapors which come from cans..wow. use it or lose it. But, how long does it take to get some symptoms from the paint fumes? I have been painting not to long, around since 2007 or so, and quite curious if ABOUT 2year, or year and a half could mess you up. Just super curious.
