boxcarwilly Posted January 19, 2004 Share Posted January 19, 2004 rockers. a perfect intro album to the world of dub would be "augustus pablo versus rockers uptown" anything by augustus will give you a good ERS "rockers" feel... except for when they play that lovers rock crap... also look for albums put out by soul jazz records (SJR) you should find a ton of killer dub plates on that label, as for more tripped out modern stuff you can get really housey with dub selector, or more tripped out with mad professor & massive attack, but as for the old school stuff id stick with augustus remixes youll get quality every time... now how the fuck do i deal with heartburn....
