The portrait is my niece, Zoe. The colors are the Trans flag, because the piece is about Trans pride. This means a lot to both of us, and we wanted to express that feeling of pride not only in the personage of the people who call themselves Trans or non-binary or whatever, but also our own pride in having them in our lives.
