the trick is, there is no set out vanashing points most of the time

ur just drawing shapes in 3 dimensions that overall look like letters......

true...to me 3D graffiti is all about demonstrating your skills in being creative with random shapes, perspective and shading...and cant forget *composition*. You have to be able to think in.....well....3 dimensions...and usually plan ahead of time so that all the letters cant intertwine nicely and not end up in a bunch of awkward positions with bad letter structure just for the sake of being 3D.

...if anyone cares...

Tough Love...

I don't know what advice you're giving

but if you think that vanishing points aren't important

to drawing in 3-D perspective you are wrong.

You may have gotten to the point where you don't actually need to draw a

vanishing point but if you're doing drawing in perspective...your lines

will converge into a point somewhere...that's just how it works.

Unless you are using an axonometric perspective...where the lines don't

converge....they just remain parallel forever.

But in any conventional perspective drawing (3D letter shapes included)

your lines will converge somewhat...this is what gives the illusion of depth.

say word.
