westce Posted November 3, 2006 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Teens Blamed For West Seattle Graffiti Spree SEATTLE -- A group of teenagers are being blamed for a graffiti spree in the West Seattle business district, reported KIRO 7 Eyewitness News. Vandals damaged more than 26 businesses and caused more than $10,000 in damage in one night. Vandals spray-painted buildings and used acid to etch scribbles on windows. Police said they caught three teens that had pictures of their graffiti tags on their cell phones. Official court documents said the teenagers had fresh paint on their hands and clothing when police found them and several black and while paint markers were recovered from each person.
