See that ISL sticker on the back of the car? That stands for Islington.

Foxtons is one of the premiere estate agencies in the London area. I'd imagine that they have a number of the cars around the city. Estate agents tend to get company cars as they travel a lot - it's part of their job.

Company attacked for ‘graffiti’ cars

By Alan Wraight

Estate agents Foxtons have been accused of glamourising criminality by Wandsworth Council following the launch of a new promotional campaign.

The estate agent giants have customised their fleet of 350 Mini Coopers with graffiti- style tags in a move that they describe as "urban chic."

However the decision has been attacked by the council and anti-graffiti organisations who believe the cars glorify graffiti.

Councillor Martin D Johnson, cabinet member for housing, said he was calling for Foxtons to scrap the campaign.

"They might find it humorous but it will be of great concern to the residents of Wandsworth that a mainstream business has adopted a style that reflects a blight we all have to endure.

"It is wholly irresponsible of Foxtons to endorse a type of behaviour that is not only anti-social but also criminal."

John Brownas, the chairman of the anti-graffiti working party was also critical of the Chiswick-based estate agent, condemning the stunt as irresponsible.

"The use of this style of graphic design only goes to normalise the sight of graffiti in our streets.

"What can have been going though this company's mind when they commissioned this design?

"Who is going to trust the sale of their property to an estate agent getting out of a car that looks worse than the side of a badly-vandalised train carriage?"

Foxtons declined to comment.

The flick's a little dark, but there were about 6 pig cars for one bloke, with about 6 officers holding him up against the wall, 3 searching him and a load of them just standing around and watching.
