  1. Today was dope, It started rough though. Got up and had a Mctwoforthree bacon egg and cheese biscuits and large McCoffee. Things got better quick, I wished Mom a happy mothers day over the phone. Went out with the camera: A little Queens tree action to start out with. This is my friends wife, and it's her first mothers day today. My first actual portrait shot, done with a tilt shift, hahaha. I have no idea how to do portraits, had to trash half the tilt shift shots. Their legs and arms got all gimped out and distorted, so funny. The proud couple, they've worked toward this for years relentlessly. Got it right, bought a nice house in a dope neighborhood in BK. When I heard the news I was so stoked for him, really good dude. Love Resposibility The future Poor little guy just got circumsised yesterday. He's sleeping it off. You know how hard it is to get a shot of a newborn smiling? Adults are easy. Dude took me out to a cool kosher restauruant for taking pics for him and hooked up a blunt for my troubles. I enjoyed it though but the blunt and dope free meal made it even better. Hopped the F to Roosevelt Island afterwards. Took shots with my boy, he brought 4 Japanese girls with him. One was his wifey, 2 were models, the other one was the hottest one. They all love Mercer's swag as any Japanese girl with good taste should. Plus I'm single again sort of. I did'n't shoot anyone though, the scenery was too dope. I've had enough of shooting people for one day (with a camera) Suns going down, watch out, y'all niggas ain't ready for the next post. Moar...........
  2. That Joker looks like a freedom to leave the comfort of the throne and reinvent in the unknown chaos piece. There is no change in the role of art today as opposed to yesterday. The methods and messages constantly change but the role stays the same. A movie producer or Neolithic cave painter may be saying different things, through different methods, but the role of art is the same.
  3. Early in the morning yesterday, playing with the new lens. Tilting and Shifting all day. Self portrait. Walked across this. For some of this. Bought these for the first time, havn't tried them yet but I'm sure it will be better than any paint pen I've used thus far. Any Krink products carry the official endorsement of Mercer, I should get paid or at least a freebie. Went down to the meat packing district to fix stuff in the afternoon, finished and walked around. Some good street art in this neighborhood. This neighborhood was was the traditional Meat packing neighborhood of NYC for a couple centuries. Dirty as it gets but now it's trendy as fuck with Restaurants most people can't afford. Street signage. Years of abuse. The end of the old elevated train tracks that used to go up the west side. Some places never tore the tracks down and built around them, the tracks are covered in tree's now. Back to Queens, quick shower and hopped back on the train. One of my freinds had a birthday party, Lower East side. It was pretty dope, apart from the usual suspects some of his coworkers came through to. Pretty fun bunch of different ages and backgrounds, beer and good food overfloweth. My friend Akiko mad this awesome cake, cream filled balls stacked up /NH:lol: Good convo, one of the dudes that showed up had serious insights and the social skills to make it interesting. Getting dark, sirens from fire trucks every 5 minutes at this intersection. The usual suspects, balling so hard you wouldn't believe me if I told you. Gag gifts, fake tattoo's that say Grandma, Grandpa, or over the hill and stuff, Birthday boy rocked them with pride and the ladies joined in. I even talked him into the adult diaper tattoo on the neck. This is the good stuff. This bar had he biggest menue of beers I've never heard of. Took me a long time to even find something I knew I'd like, Iron City beer in NYC, fuck yea. Got a little blurry after this and stopped taking pictures, the end.
  4. I'm a firm believer in the "It's not the camera, It's the person behind it" philosophy. Those pics prove it.
  5. Luck I guess, I almost typed a wall of text.
  6. Communication of complex thoughts that cannot be expressed through language. - Mercer, 2009
  7. Yea, thats me, I've got an older account on there and post pics in there again now, that board went to shit over the years but it still has some talented people that still post. Ok, sorry for the power posting but one more, this time with a tripod.
  8. Personal favorite from today's first tilt shift shenanigans. I haven't even used it properly with a tripod yet, I'm about to go do that now.
  9. I like that post, best looking weed so far, my yinzer sour diesel didn't even look that good in person. Out of curiosity are you a brown man from Croatia living in Ukraine?
  10. I've got a friend with poor social skills that shoves his camera and video camera in anyone's face. It is so annoying to constantly have pictures and video taken of you even when you know the guy.
  11. You can't get away with it here without risking regular altercations, most people get supertelephoto lenses that are into that kind of photography here or are just good at talking it up with strangers..

    Shoes?

I always got this on every pair of Air maxes I've owned after wearing them 5 or 6 times. I fixed a pair by injecting a few drops of plain old vegetable oil into the air cushion and shaking it around till it covers most of the bottom of the bubble. If you really want to do it up heat the oil up a little first so it's more runny. Once the seal is broken on the air cushion of most Nike's the top and bottom of the bubble touch and when they rub together they make a squeak. Not sure about those Jordan's or even what they look like but it's worth a try if they still look to good to retire and have air in the heel and seem like the bubble is making the squeak.
  13. Just looking back at the beginnings of this thread, Dawood ripped it wide open with his trip to the zoo. I miss seeing him post in here, hope he's doing good and still keeping it Islam. Brewster Baker got the first dump shot points but I think I used to have him on ignore back then. This thread went triple platinum, Pistol gets the wins.
  14. You bastard, I keep forgetting to take the "taking a shit after morning coffee" shot and wanted to be first. Good post though, bastard.
  15. I'm still thinking Eddie Murphy was the best during his peak, at least better than all others that have followed.
  16. Whats up with that waterless urinal? Did it stink like an elevator pit?
  17. Even the arm itself is fucked, drumstick looking ass appendage.
  18. If that happens I'll be trying to rob every dude there and scoop all the females to another spot for my non oontzing friends. Most of us would enter with that plan, only one of us would end up pulling it off though.
  19. I'm jealous of the west coasts oontz set, Eastsiders would probably try to rob/stab each other if we met up like that. I'll have a post for today's shots later, got some bangers today and meeting up with some dude I haven't seen in 11 years and used to bomb with for brews in Chinatown later on. I want to make a blog for this kind of thing or better yet talk Raven into making one so each post gets it's own page and the pages are more organized. This thread has way too much win for just a regular thread.
