  1. stay cruel

    question

This happened to a friend of mine. The cops pretty much just watched his house watched where he went and stuff. Just tell them to lay low for a while.. Don't go out bombing for a while and don't admit anything to the cops. Get rid of your sketchbook or hide it at a friends house or something.
  2. stay cruel

    throwups

    Something I sketched earlier today.
  3. I live in the suburbs about half an hour outside boston. The scene here is hot you can't walk around with a backpack afterdark without a cop asking if you have paint. Cop- "Hey kid what you got in the bag?" Writer- "Nothin" Cop- "Ya got paint in there?" Writer- "No, you can look if you want." Cop- "Well I just want to know if you have paint because that's all I really care about." He actually didn't have anything in his bag either. I just find it hillarious that the cop says all he really cares about is busting kids for graff. But yeah I live in a somewhat suburban place. There are a ton of writers around here.
  4. What's the name of that song in the O'clock clip? It's in Dirty Handz 2 as well.
  5. Yeah I kind of misworded that. I meant rail spots. Usually if I wanna paint in the day I just walk the tracks and find a nice chill dayspot that runs along the tracks. I think it's kind of cool to paint some random ass location in the middle of nowhere though.. It'll last forever and kids may just be walking around in the woods one day and notice it, and maybe that will inspire them to start writing.. That's just me though, I don't know what your opinion is on that.
  6. Haha, sorry man. But apparently, a lot of people all ready knew about that.
  7. I live in the suburbs about 30 minutes from Boston. But there are a lot of writers here for some reason.. Weird. But if your paranoid of someone you know seeing you.. Why don't you just do non-sketchy spots like chill spots where no one can see you on some tracks or something. And if you're not satisfied.. Just go street bombing in the city closest to you.
  8. All I really ever work with are stock tips and fats (rusto fat for rustoleum, or NY fat on krylon).. I usually like a german outline cap for a handstyle gives it a cool flare. I'm not sure if this has been mentioned but.. If you go to an art store or hardware store and find some Elmer's spray adhesive take a good look at the cap. It's a rusto fat cap.. Now I'll never have to pay for rusto fats again haha.
  9. I guarantee if everyone was allowed to carry a firearm wherever they went.. The amount of gun related deaths in the US would just skyrocket doing nothing towards protection. If you want something for protection it should be something that won't be at risk of killing someone but temporarily injure them, like mace or pepper spray.
  10. That would be just plain ridiculous to believe.. And to yumone, the definition of Atheist is "one who does not believe in God" I'm not saying I don't believe in god, I'm just saying that I do not know if a god exists.. I don't see how there is one.. That's agnosticism. If there were proof of god(s) existing.. I would believe in one. It's all a matter of common sense. I have nothing against a God of anysort if there is a god. However, it kind of bugs me how people just come up with these rules of god that are kind of ridiculous..
  11. haha. Well the only spot that I usually paint that may have a risk of getting jumped is a legal wall a couple towns over. And if a cop asked me why I had it I'd say "To open a bucket paint lid" In that scenario. And If I was painting illegally.. Why would I even stop to talk to the cops? I'm outta there.
  12. Markers, gloves, keys, maybe a bandana, If im going to a spot where I think I might get robbed or jumped I'll bring a hammer or tie a bandana around a big padlock.
  13. I personally liked the way bomb the system went throughout with all the weird trippy parts.. I just thought some of the dialogue was corney. The soundtrack to it was pretty cool. I notice some resemblance to the SANE and SMITH brothers in it too. When he hits the side of the brooklyn bridge. For graff movies though, im more into documentary stuff or live action stuff rather than fictional films. I liked Dirty Hands 2 a lot, as well as Style Wars. But then again, the only graff movies ive seen are the ones on google video cause im too damn cheap.
  14. Yeah I've been reading most of the stuff you've said since the beginning of the thread. A lot of interesting useful stuff. I might go down to my local library and see if those books are in, thanks for recommending them.
  15. I've always wanted to hop a train. Ever since I can remember I've been looking for random stuff around my town to explore.. Woods, trails, etc.. My friends and I have always been into that stuff. Maybe ill try freight hopping this summer.. I'm always up for adventure, however it may be hard to do with a part-time job working about 20 hours a week.
  16. I don't understand the belief in a supreme being with no actual evidence that there is one. I'm not saying im atheist or against God, I just don't have any evidence that there is one. All religions have the basic moral principles to not steal, don't kill, don't rape, etc.. In my opinion most religions are just created to keep society in order and not complete chaos and anarchy. Then the whole idea of christianity was devolped for the poor man who had nothing going for him so he'd just steal and kill or do whatever he can to get what he wants.. They say "If you do all that bad stuff, you'll go to hell. But if you listen to me and be a good person, you'll be rewarded in the afterlife." And that's how they kept the lower class of society in order. I also don't understand the concept of going to hell if you don't believe in god. Since we don't know god exists, it's just promoting ignorance. And also it says even if you're a good person and do well for society you go to hell. Scientology is definately one of the worst of them all though.. Zealot brainwashing scum.
  17. Why didn't the teacher just make the little girl clean her desk? That's pretty ridiculous. The police could be doing something more productive like trying to catch a murderer or rapist or something.. But they go for the easier stuff. And putting a little girl in handcuffs is just ridiculous. My friend was skating at some skatepark in our town and some group of kids in a local gang jumped him, knocked him with a 2 by 4 over his back, gave him a pretty bad beating. Cops didn't even show up for it. But if I walk down a street covered in graff wtih a backpack ill get searched. I fucking hate pigs so much.
  18. Watch, after they buff a piece or a tag with the laser, they'll put a different color paint from the wall over the tag or piece like they always do..
  19. Graff in school is lame because.. No paint, Everyone that writes in school usually sucks, get caught and get expelled if it's a felony, and also School is the easiest place to get caught. Kids are walking in and out of bathrooms, down hallways, if a teacher catches you, you can't run cause they'll most likely know your name. And even if you're too good not to ever get caught, the school will give a reward to whoever rats you out. And even if it's one person that doesn't know you they'll most likely do it. I know this for a fact, happened to two of my friends. The first kid got a felony and got expelled because just one kid saw him and ratted him out for $100, the other just got a misdemeanor. When you're writing on the street at least you can run from the cops.
  20. Go to any local art store or hardcore store and look for elmer's spray adhesive. They have rusto fats for stock tips. You should just go into the spray glue/paint/anything in a spray can and look around at the caps though. It's a lot easier, that's how I found out about those spray adhesive stock tips.
