bumpunbg my question on how to make filmcanister and med bottle mops. i need to bomb with some ghetto krink, but i dont ghave any mops left. and cant go rack(no money for the bus)

ok, im taking a trip to hobby lobby, so i want to know all the "goodies" besides glue pens, sharpie magnums, window writers, chalkboard markers, etc. for mops and such, or is that it? and also, how do you make film canister and med bottle mops? Is it like a tic tac mop, when you glue the tops together, make a hole, and put a nib, or is there another way?

this is how you do it. now that i think about, i probably would paint over the letters like that...

you stuff it for tic tacs. its not a straight through hole. theres a little window. it will sit on the inside

yeah, i got it open and clean, and the nib has a flow valve like kiwis. i hope it will work with ghetto krink, or i might have to find a way to change the nib to felt. cuz i dont want to have to pay for all that ink. it holds 4 oz, thats almost half a bottle of most inks.

i just got one of those CVS bingo markers yesterday. is it paint/oilbase friendly? haha, i got a zig glue marker too. mine has oink in it though.

well, anyways, im gonna get a messenger bike type rack if anyone cares. good looking out smooth nuts. its cuz i wanted to do a HUGE piece, out when i came back, a whole shit load of people killed it there. so now i want to do a fucking huge stencilled wheatpaste.

someone said to post flicks of markers and how they write, so this is my input for tic-tac markers filled with an acrylic mix note: i do not write PET

alright mr. nuts, i managed to get my hands on supplies and a mop for my paint mix, the tic tac mop.(orange tic tacs are fucking tasty :D ) i used the old school ones. and the reason you want to buy white(or closest to it) outdoor acrylic latex oops paint from home depot and some of that cheap ass 2 oz paint from hobby lobby or walmart is so you can get better colors, coverage and durabilty. the 2 oz acrylic provides your color, while your outdoor latex acrylic provides coverage and durability. you can use the thinned outdoor alone, but who wants off white handstyles? the cheap paint on its own is shit. i thinned out the mix with water(no alcohol, acetone kills tic tacs), and my ratio was: 1 part water 1 part colored cheap acrylic(cobalt blue, apple barrel) 1 part of the outdoor shit(behr). remember, you can save cash by getting the oops paint from home depot. a pint for a dollar. i used a batch of this same stuff before(excect i had green apple) and it has lasted rain and shine. the dry time will be quicker if you use alcohol to thin it, as it evaporates faster. a handstyle with the tic tac mop (note: this is not what i write. i dont like putting out too much intel of me on the web) also, the ghetto krink recipe that was posted a few pages back that was based off of white out and nail polish remover is shit. i used BIC wite-out and kroger nail polish remover and put it in a chapstick mop. it comes out of clothes with water for god's sake! it also doesnt even do that great of a job on paper either. i guess you can use the shit if your desperate, but your better off using the oops paint and some water. it's cheaper anyways. and if your lucky, some times they have oil based oops paint. if your too broke for thinner, you can thin it with nail polish remover with a high acetone content that you can pick up from the dollar store. just dont put that shit in a tic tac mop. acetone will eat the hell out of the it, same for BAZIC bingo markers, push pop markers, and some medicine bottle mops.

i need a decent sized(maybe an inch or so nib ) acetone-proof mop. i got a paint mix consisting of ghetto krink and depressured spraypaint, and then more acetone. i made a glue stic mop, and thats ok, but i kill it in about a dozen hands. thanks, sk8er6

ive been reading through forums and seen stuff about post office ink. where do i get it at and how? do i rack the shit from a post office or what?

ok, i know this place, i dont think its a yard, but it weaves into these industrial areas (places they manufacture shit, tiles, etc.) they have box cars around a lot. but i want to know what the hell is going on? some of them arent anywhere near the buildings. and they cange about every week or so.

don't paint with other toys. toys encouraging toys makes for no progression. i like how you actually had good solid questions though. keep drawing man. also, you can at least draw, right? cuz i know this one dude thats toy... well, im not going to go into that.

true skirmfirm, but if you were able to thin it with alcohol, it was acrylic. a lot of people on here and other sites bash acrylic, but you seem to have gotten good use from it though. I myself use acrylics. I go to home depot and buy a pint of it from the "oops" paint section, outdoor quality for a dollar, and add some cheap acrylic from hobby lobby,(20-30 cents) and mix to get some cool ass colors. I dont do it often, and the shit i've done with acrylic is still up. (its been a month and a half.

come on, ghetto krink is pretty good. personally i love the shit. good luck genome.

or you can mix it with shitty ink(like eternal) and get a really dark water proof black.

i know i was talking about this another thread, but house paint is acrylic. i know that was an obvious thing to say, but i just thought it was relevant.
