alright, i was really desperate, and I filled a mini mop made from some eyedrops with kiwi scuff cover(black bottle, brown contents). it takes forever to dry, but its water proof. weird. im thinking of follwing up on what oink said, and mix the two. dark color and water proof, thats cool with me.

^thats the deal, i did yesterday, it rained and most of of the shit, except the one that was in a covered place, is gone. ill try some mixes of my own. really whats up is im broke as shit most days, and i was suprised that the shit i make was better than eternal. i would be cool to rack pilot, but the only place that carries it is mom and pop stores. i feel bad though, especaily since a lot off good mom and pop shops are going out of business. no, not the sharpie, just the ink. not shoe polish, shoe dye, like leather dye. The ink says permanent, but its not waterproof. and thats why i wanted to know the deal with the dye before i went out and bought some. the pilot ink/leather dye recipe is on page one. just trying to see what any good. I actually racked a black scuff cover kiwi. should i mix the ink with that and leather dye, or just kiwi black?and the clear nail polish doesnt say acetone, but isprospyl alcohol.

thats exactly what i want. a good modifying recipe. this is so gay, the first time i buy ink, it sucks. i want a recipe to use this with it though, i added clear nail polish. and some scotchguard like i did my other recipe. i want to add some shoe dye, the nail polish thickened it up a bit. any suggestions? stainers maybe?

shit man, too late. damn, i got it already. i just filled up my chapstic with it and went out today. 12 handstyles the size of a binder without running dry even. I heard some people only get 3. they ran out of pilot. if i get blue pilot and eternal and some leather dye, maybe just leather dye and eternal, would it help balance out? Im new to actually buying ink, usually rig up a super half assed recipe. Im just asking for advice before I fuck up the ink i just paid for. thanks, sk8er6 p.s. sorry for the tardiness mr. nuts. i cut a stencil from a drawing i made. it was cut on printer paper, and i put a black sheet of paper under the stencil and copied it to cut on a better material. and yeah, this is the darkest of the 3 layers im planning. print with homemade ink in an hp printer. and explain your broken dvd ink.

Bruce_1nR: the person asking about chapstic markers: stick a pen down the tube of the chapstic on the spindle. if it still doesnt pull out all the way, stick a pen and pry off the wheel with a key or coin. go down the spindle and at the bottom where the threads stop, cut. .............|\|.... .............|\|.... .............|\|....}threaded spindle .............|\|....cut here ............[...]...clip .........[|||||||]wheel jam the wheel back into the tube. now get a lighter, or a empty tin can and a stove, and melt wax and pour it into the tube. if the wax leaks, don't worry, thats actually a good thing. NEVER SPIN THE SPINDLE EVER AGAIN. Once the wax cools(after about 20 minutes in the fridge to be safe) stuff your nib in there and soak it with ink. good luck. btw, most chapstic markers dont drip. flatblackoverchrome: yes, spraypaint is like soda. this is the fastest way to depressurize it. 1 get a heavy ass fatcap (like montana level 5's) and spray the can upside down untill all the gas escapes. Any cap, or even a pen tube will work, but fatcaps get the job done faster. 2 pop the can and pour into a coke bottle and close the cap. 3 shake it and open cap to release gas. 4 repeat as neccessary until you can no longer see or hear gas escaping. good luck, and try not to shun peoples advice. Most people, with the exception of smooth nuts, know whats up.

is that lettering enamel good as ink, or thinned out paint. i remember reading about it, but i guess what im asking, is it any good in an otr?

and about how much is liquid rit dye? i know i can pick up powdered. might want to try this myself...could get some crazy ass colored ink out of this. im thinking orange. yeah! oh, and to add to my post above, try adding polycrylic to your rit. rit is waterbased, and polycrylic is a waterbased clear coat. tell me if it works, and its probably easier to deal with (and maybe cheaper) than scotch guard. you can pick up polycrylic at walmart and home depot. and also, cant remember if it was here or on bombingscience, but anything with the suffix "crylic" is waterbased. There is no such thing as an oil based acrylic paint. no, the pops said its like liquid bluing, the stuff you use to make your shirts look whiter, but in powder form. im pretty sure its shit if it comes out in the wash. thanks anyways.

hey DARKEIST, my pen ink had problems in the rain, so i added scotch guard. it worked. 2 rains a a small flurry of snow and its still up. try spraying out scotch guard and mixing it with your rit dye. leather dye wouldnt hurt either. for my pen ink it was. 1 oz pen ink dilluted with alcohol, and 1.5 oz scotch guard. good luck.

yeah i rember mar, thats how i got the pen ink recipe. have to add scotch guard for pemanence though, but yeah so long guys i guess. fortunatley, i only have 1 pic on the site. and on of them got buffed by the city a few weeks back. unless the city took a pic, i might be home free. im never putting anything online after this shit. seriously. thanks for the look out. and could a mod please delete this entire thread.
