any stencilrevolution.com folks on here? did they close the site down?
  7. wow, im suprised that this actually went so far. i think you have 2 options. 1. show us sum titties 2. or go to your phone so my friends can prank call the shit out of you.
  8. i heard that someone used bluing powder(for laundry) in theit ink. They said it has meth. blue in it, so its a good additive for ink. True? I would check, but my pops bluing is in a plastic baggie with no box or label.
  9. sheet felt is the best for homemade ink markers. i have gotten a homemade to work once with paint, but is dried out and ruined the nib after 4 tags. socks dont really absorb for shit either though.or you can do the kiwi way and have a nib with holes in it for flow. or even better yet. ________________________________ piece of felt/cloth with no holes XXX| |XXXXXXX| |XXXXXXX| |XXXX} XXX| |XXXXXXX| |XXXXXXX| |XXXX}solid felt, foam, w/e .......\hole.........\hole.........\hole and im trying to make a flow valve, possibly a pump valve to make a chapstic marker, or any homemade that can succesfully use paint. should i bother, or just use the method above? I dont think making a flow valve or a pump valve should be too difficult. Isn't a pump valve a flow valve except the nib is sitting on top instead of the flow being inside it?
  10. ok, i dont have a cam, but ill post some scans of originals (black) and the prints (violet) as soon as i can get it hooked up. might not be till monday
  11. Ok, this might sound really toy, but is there a mop i can put wheatpaste in, or a combination i can use to thin wheatpaste to toss into a kiwi/kiwi equivalent without weakening the paste?
  12. of what. wheatpastes, prints, ink, the ink rubbing off, the cartridge, what?
  13. about my newspaper- black marker-black pen ink i mixed it, and when you rub water on it, one layer of color (violet) comes off on smooth surfaces, but does not affect the color. any solutions for that? but my ass was totally bored, and my moms gave me her old printer cause she couldnt find any cartridges for it, so i thought, "what the hell" then grabbed a syringe and filled the black printer cartridge with my violet homemade ink. it doesnt run under water. So this tip might be really good for either really broke ass people like myself, or wheat pasters like myself. haha, just saved 37 bucks with ink that cost less than 2. but yeah. it verks!
  14. i just was on bombingscience, and someone basically used one a variation of my pen ink recipe, but added construction paper i saw this prison movie (yeah, i know what yall are gonna say) and this guy was able to use pigment from the newspaper to paint with ink. possible? or just some more hollywood macguyver b/s. {EDIT} actually, i rubbed some alcohol on the newspaper, and i was able get some black off. im going to try the carbon paper recipe with newspaper instead, mixed with pen ink and ink from a marksalot. think this might be promising.
  15. say oink, where can i meet up with you today or tomorrow, or saturday, sometime this weekend. Got some unhappy empty homemades
  16. sounds cool, ill try, should get some cash today. how much is oink?*nm, checked the site. where should we meet up at? i get off detention around 5, so anytime between 5 and 7 is cool.
  17. im actually dallas local, and i respect the post oink it makes sense. I added more pens and a touch of acrylic paint to my ink for opaqueness but suprisingly, my ink recipe is good ink, survived the rain without fading (we got some heavy ass rain the other day) i think it has a long drying time though, but not nearly as bad as brake fluid, and it stains painted surfaces like a bitch!(leaves a bluish/gray ghost, ink its self is blue) so im happy with my platypus ink.(because the parts and pieces are so goddamn random) I requested a sample from markal for their livestock dye that was meant to be diluted in water and stain animals for 14 days, but im not diluting it for shit. i think it would be a damn good additive for ink. thoughts?
  18. knife trick didnt work. if you actually have advice about the lighter tell me. because i have tried and have made several homeades and am well acquainted with the basics. this is the tut i typed for stencil revolution.
  19. alright, im working on the bold tic tac marker, had to try a diffrent way because the curves and arches of the cap would cause gaps and holes when glueing them. ill get pics after the jb weld dries/cures/sets. also, i heard you can make markers out of cheap ass disposable lighters, but i cant get the shit open after the white/plastic shit under the metal. any way yall know of.
  20. back to 8th grade science(no offense): like breaks down like, water will remove water based ink and paint, just as water will remove watercolor paint from paper. same deal with cleaning up spilled lemonade or coke. alcohol based ink will break down with alcohol. i should know, has some hella hard stains in my sink from my first batch of ink ever. try it, get some rubbing alcohol and try it on buffing your ink. but it doesnt work on porus surfaces, like wood. ink seeps in too far. my teachers used alcohol on dumbass elementary school tags when i was little. like that "mich3al wuz hur" bullshit. but yeah, theres diffrent stuff in it besides alcohol.
  21. empty gluestic. drip in wax. flold up cloth/felt. insert into gluestic. drip ink. the new ones arent fragile, they squeeze. squeeze=drips
  22. most ink is alcohol based right? then isnt alcohol a type of ink remover? The shit isnt water proof itself, but the scotchguard repels it. when you get it wet, you can actually see it repel water. i already added more pen ink, and a tiny bit of acrylic paint. the shit stains painted glossy surfaces hard though. i know this isnt good ink, but its all i got. and who ever mentioned it, i hate break fluid. dot 3 does not do shit.
  23. i know that this post is ancient, but doues anyone know how to make a tic tac marker/mop out of the newschool tic tacs, like this one i like the one above and they still make them, its just that i found 2 boxes of bolds at school. the problem is that they close better than the old itc tacs. help?
  24. ok so i made this mix because i was bored, and somewhat desperate, 2 oz alcohol ink from a 4pack of $1 store markers 2 black 1 blue 1 red .5 oz Vandalising mark remover(the shit school janitors use.) 2 oz scotch guard (ink wasent sticking enough, so i though, scothguard) and 10 black ball point pens. suprisingly, the ink is blue. but not so opaque, stains the hell out of painted surfaces. (only seen it on glossy), and dries in about 30 seconds indoors. its weird. but its all i got righ now im thinking of adding more pens to add some opaqueness. good idea or bad.
