Tonight’s beers: cloudwater dipa- nice easy going dipa, second tasted better than the first. Barrel aged impy from abbeydale. This isn’t like any imperial stout I’ve had, it has Brett in it which gives it a slight sourness. It has a citrus aftertaste which I don’t know if I like or not

I feel like a lot of these euro companies have a separate thing calculating shipping as I’ve tried ordering magazines before and it’s been €15 to deliver to the U.K. You’re lucky to get one of those skore blackbooks too, not many released

I’ve been tempted by that fra32 book for a while now. Hopefully it’s still available, wholetrain press have some decent deals in books at the moment and you get a jon ztk t shirt free with some orders I reckon

Just been on the Guinness this week.

I’m lucky that the paint shop and this brewery are next door to each other. Their specialties are big juicy ipas but their imperial stouts are also pretty some Of the best I’ve had. Can’t wait for the colder weather to begin drinking darker beers again.

Used to serve the whiskey barrel one on cask when I worked in a pub. It was a bit too much for me but then again I hardly ever drink cider. We used to also sell a mango cider that was about 7% and tasted like a smoothie. Dangerous stuff

Hopping frog isn’t the easiest beer to get over here. I’ve had one of their stouts before which was great. This was a gift and also very good. I don’t have enough brown ales.
