They had a few in the local beer shop for a reasonable price so picked one up.

Few pumpclips of the stuff I’ve been drinking seeing as it usually always looks the same in the glass.

Every now and again, I pop into the Wetherspoons. I don’t know what the American equivalent to this is? Essentially, it’s incredibly cheap beers and food with people drinking pitchers of blue cocktails to old boys enjoying the £2 pints of ale. These pints can also be enjoyed with your breakfast if you want depending on the fightyness of the clientele. They are also really divisive with their politics with the boss supporting Brexit and telling workers to go work in Tesco during covid resulting in him getting upset no one wanted to work in his pubs. They have a magazine they give out too that is always a fantastic read. On the other hand, they refurbish really nice buildings that would otherwise deteriorate and eventually be knocked down. If people watching is your thing, then spoons is the place for you.

The dragon. I’ve been coming here years now and the pub has always had this unique smell. It’s not awful but it’s just unique to this pub. I always have the same beer too for some reason. Oakham citra

Can’t forget scratchings and scampi fries! Never had a pickled egg, that is where I draw the line. I’ve never actually seen anyone eat one either. They just kind of exist either behind the bar or at the chip shop. I’ve had a few pickled onions with my pint though

Their cans are a bit hit or Miss but this one was pretty decent to be fair. He got an insect bite and it all went a bit infected which he loved to lick, so it was either bandage or the dreaded cone

I like this kind of thing. Spend a certain amount of time in a particular spot and see what happens. Needless to say, this has plenty of kegr stuff and loads of euro freight monikers
