  1. holy shit... KR is on top of the situation!! Don't call it a comeback.
  2. Shit. Ok so the product was... I think... A car wax applicator that had the liquid wax in a bottle that doubled as a handle like on a gun. So where the barrel of the gun would be, there was instead a 3 and 1/2" diameter round sponge applicator. You squeeze the wax into the sponge and apply(not directly to forehead). It's out there, and I have seen it with my own eyes. In looking for this thing, I found THESE. Never used them before, but they are big... Might be worth taking a look at. Sorry to tease, but also really want to know what that thing was again. I will make some phone calls.
  3. It's just expensive sign paint. Lighter colored paints stand out better too. You can really do a light colored ink, so thats why I encourage making bright/lighter colored paint colors. Like Junobo paint.
  4. OK... I now know what you are talking about and yes it is HUGE!! I am going to tease and try and find the product first before I tell you what it is. A friend of mine had one those. It's not a marker at all. That's your hint. Be back in 15 with or without photos.
  5. I understand that you want a marker for this application... But seriously... thats a possibly messy ass marker to slug around. Just use a can, the old fashion way. Seriously.
  6. Go with the old trusty. The Kiwi mop is tip top! It's too big in my opinion. Unless you are trying to play bingo with god and the cards are super huge... then you might need something much bigger.
  7. Not very big. You can make a large one... but a large bottle of Kiwi shoe polish is the biggest round nib that I know of. Anyone else?? Alternatively you can take any canister, plastic bottle and mount a rolled up felt eraser strips to create wide round marker. But I think kiwi is your best bet. They don't look big, but when you drop em with a good INK, not paint, you get big bold lines that flow and drip. Hope that helps.
  8. Not the cap. Find a cap that fits over the marker. Then wrap the tape on the body of the marker to make the cap fit snug on the marker.
  9. STOP THE PRESSES!!! DO NOT THIN OUT PROPER PURPLE!!! Thats a Pantone color and is for mixing!! Get a 8oz tin of good oil based rusto. Mix in a couple of spoon fulls of the Proper Purple. MIX MIX MIX. Then thin this new slightly lighter purple, and you still have lots of One shot PropPurp to mix more. Good luck.
  10. ^^I know people say they get drips, but seriously... I don't know to many people actually use this style of marker. They are all the same. If you want sweet drips you need to use a mop. Not a marker. OR... You can get an empty marker, like above, and only use ink in it. Poke some holes through the nib straight down and maul the end of the nib so its not flat and sharp. Then you can get drips... But still not like what most people want. Ink drips. Paint doesn't unless it's in a mop. And all these OTR/Molotow pump drip markers will not produce the drips you want if you buy them straight up. They come with shitty paint in them and you need to have super in in them. If you want to a drippy marker/mop... Get one of THESE or THESE. Fill it with some of THIS or THIS Also... DED is coming out with his own mop too! You want drips, and messy tags to work with?? Use those links. Good luck. Stay up.
  11. Word life. The higher the Mesh Count the finer the particles. This works really well too! Especially with paint mixes. Red with aluminum dust... comes out like automotive touch up paint. Really dope.
  12. ^^good call. That's right on. Look for consumer tops off of everyday products. The tape idea is a good one as well. Nice find.
  13. They aren't going to stop making the bodies... But I think it was Sharpie, or one of their subsidiaries, that bought out Uni. They will have the same body, but shitty paint in them. Not the age old Uni formula. Thats the skinny. I can't find any articles on this, but when I looked, all the old stuff made by Sanford Corp that makes the UNI's, is discontinued.
  14. Those UNI's are now discontinued... You might want to pick up whatever you can find thats on the racks. As far as I last heard, they wont be stocking them anymore. Well not as Uni's at least (correct me if am wrong please).
  15. You can put it directly into your markers... but to get the best use out of it, you want to make your mix first, with that in it, and then put your mixed mix into a marker. Either way will work, but the premix is better.
  16. Depends on the marker. What kind are you currently talking about, and what kind of ink/paint are you putting in it? ^^this stuff will get a good fast answer. Seriously.

  18. ^^this cracked me up!! Making another order...
  19. I know Goya and I still say.. Support your local cats that are actually painting. Big up CEVs. Graff hero's are still just normal dudes.
  20. I was thinking more the goya going under CEVS. But I'm sure it's all in good fun.
  21. BRUCE: Go back about 4 or 5 pages, or look up Sk8er's posts. He shows a great marker that he made out of push pop that puts the chapstick idea to shame. You might like it a lot. He also has really easy directions for making it. Good luck! Post flicks of yours.
  22. To sum up that NEHI's issue... That NEHI started writing around 95 in St.Paul/Murderapolis. There is no threat to the DC NEHI that paints WAY more than NEHI has in the recent years and oddly enough... I never thought DC NEHI was biting the above NEHI, but they both have almost the exact throw(his old throw from almost 8 years ago). I thought he was down in DC and tried to look him up through some people that assured me "HE" wasn't the same NEHI I was looking for. If you travel a little north of DE. you will see some of the other NEHI. EDIT:Bump TKG, KF, RVS!
  23. BRUCE: Just go back to page one. It describes every thing step by step. SKIM: Take some foam/sponge and roll it between your thumb and forefinger and make it a skinny roll of sponge and put those in the hole and let them unroll and they will stay in there. That will regulate the flow MUCH better. I would keep in a plastic sandwich bag and upright when you carry it. But this technique works really well with INK, but not so much with paint mixes.
