i only ever talk about graffiti with my closest friends and painting buddies.
if a random graffiti artist ive just met asks me what i write, i tend to tell them that i dont put up anymore, if they push me, i just tell them to go fuck themselves...
there was never a hiatus in graffiti, it just wasn't as mainstream as it is today. the majority of getting up done is in tags or throwies is because spending time on a piece today is dangerous.
plus some new jacks have no style and just like to see there nam up in lights.
i would like to believe that graffiti will keep going strong, but with terrorism in play, any kind of law breaking is getting hard to do....

because graffiti actually interests a lot of people, but they just want to know about it, not actually committ. i only get up because i enjoy painting, if i lost that i would be out of it so fast...
