  1. I got knocked on the forearm pretty good with one of those sticks once. It bruised up and hurt for a few days but the other guy got sent to the hospital for that. Honestly I don't think it's too effective as a weapon unless you really brain someone with it.
  2. I have a jar of MSG at home. It's a powdered substance. I use it for cooking but I'm sure you can think of other ways to use it.
  3. top shelf: The windup bird chronicle Norwegian wood Ragtime Life of Pi On the Road Visions of Cody The Great Gatsby Zak Smith: Pictures of girls High school yearbook Half empty bottle of kodak fixer.
  4. I can appreciate Starbucks for the atmosphere. It's shaded, a lot of them have some sorta jazz or chill out music playing, and you don' t even have to get a coffee. I just sit there and do work for an hour or four sometimes with a coke I got from the bodega across the street.
  5. BLAM! PIZOW! BOOF! Uh yeah. I like photography and a nice place to live. It's really nothing anyone moderately rich can't afford. I plan to own all of the first 3 in the next few years. The building pictured though, the one on astor place? Starts at 2mil to rent Oh, yeah, and hookers. A lot of hookers.
  6. word. sm0k32illidie4lif3. It's bad. The other day, whodie was smoken a treez like nothin right? Then his head exploded.
  7. I own a d200, it's a good camera. I never use the video option on point and shoots anyway. I'm a huge advocate of photoshop. The still images on magazines and billboards that were shot with digital systems (more and more now, with the introduction of digital backs for medium format) have had many hours of editing each. Before Photoshop, people did the same thing in a darkroom- it's just simpler to do so now. Come on, editing is very much so a large part of photography. "I eagerly await new concepts and processes. I believe that the electronic image will be the next major advance. Such systems will have their own inherent and inescapable structural characteristics, and the artist and functional practitioner will again strive to comprehend and control them." - Ansel Adams,
  8. I've played the beginning of Silent Hill (forgot which one it was exactly) at a friends house. Apparently, my wife was somewhere in Silent Hill and I was supposed to find her. The beginning was a dark and foggy joint. Every now and then there'd be a monster and I'd have to beat it to death with a stick with a nail in it. But I heard it gets really good.
  9. Never mind. Photobucket's erratic resizing of my pictures is aggravating. We got some pictures on the message board. These are all pictures from my first roll of velvia 50 in 220 format. The tool used to make these is a Yashica Mat 124 G<for Gangster>. A camera a purchased used. Since it was made only from 1970 to 1985, it's at least 21 years old. So here's the scans. I also have the same scene on digital instead of <scanned> film. Here it is to compare:
  10. oops. sorry about the size. I'm going to make a new thread with big fucking pictures. Everybody's doing it. There's Nastynia, there's...well, there's Nastynia, now there's me.
  11. Hahaha, the woodpecker's working at it too quick for the camera.
  12. Thanks. No photoshopping except to correct some lens distortion. I just metered the grass in the shade. Cheggit, Optimus Prime: Hot Shit. Module X: The first shot on your second post is titties! (good).
