  1. Bump for Aphex Twin. Windowlicker is one of the best music videos out there. Don't front.
  2. Sparoism, I tried out PCBSD and it set up wonderfully on this spare shit-box I have running. Was able to boot to the desktop without any boot floppys or CDs. Ultimately, I decided to go with Linux, though. I have Slackware 10.2 running on the box now. It doesn't have LILO configured so I have to use slax's setup cd #1 in order to get a prompt and boot into linux with a "bare.i /dev/hda1 ro noinit.rd" or some shit. But I like it. I only wish I could go higher than 1072x768.
  3. That wiki concerns users of Linux, bro. I doubt most readers of this thread use Gentoo, let alone any sort of Linux.
  4. I know Phers wrote that, but can someone go over the letters in MS Paint or something? I can only see the S (and maybe the P) in that piece. I know I can't be the only one goin, "Where the fuck is the H in that?" Wait, I think I see it... almost... ok, yup, I got it. Had to look at his other stuff and do a couple more "pucker fuckers" before I could.
  5. anyone notice the loafis in all those pics from that custom whips mag? Yeah, and like BMT said, some Deth. Didn't that building get tore down this past summer, though?
  6. Yeah, that T is from the famous STEEL. Kinda funny how both the S and E flicks there were both taken within just a few miles of I-75. One in Detroit and who knows where the other one is.
  7. unless she was making an esoteric reference to a plant or river, (while simultaneously misspelling 'maybe') the word is 'influence', and i know what it means, but thank you. Anytime, good sir, anytime..
  8. Influents, as in, more than one influent. Klaudius has one influent while Rock&Rye has many influents.
  9. I think there's an Abort/Peru on some handball courts pretty close to where you flicked those Faygo bombs on the trailer. I thought there were some Gem pieces at the Market? Musta got rolled. I know there's a Jem still running at either the Belleville or Haggerty Road exit on I-94. Shit's been there for a year or two. Dake, man, whatever happened to dude? I might be mistaken or misinformed but, no mention of Pixel?
  10. And it's much too hard to ask 15 years worth of questions in one post or one e-mail. The history dork in me would love a nice little book of the complete history of detroit graffiti from different perspectives. The devil's advocate in me says that the writers would view that as totally selling out and making things/knowledge easier for toys and n00bs. Also, I'm sure there's the trust/integrity issue thrown in there because of the "Paint Cans and Politics" bullshit.
  11. Khartoum, you're not the only one that wants to learn about the history of graffiti in this city. Somewhat directed at seeking, I'd imagine that putting up what your viewpoint was on certain events on a medium such as this -- or even posting an article on, say, motosoul -- can generate drama because other people can see what you have to say and have problems with your opinion. But what if the history lessons were done a la IM or e-mail correspondence? That way you have stories told by different people without the influence of other people/writers. And at the end one can just compile it, differing opinions and all, and post it up. It would certaintly take more time but I would think that you'd end up with a more polished result.
  12. Goddamn, seeking, that's funny shit. Simon Cowell in this bitch, y'all. What's even funnier is that just because the first one is "thick", I'd like to get to know her. You'd think I could get with a heavier woman being in one of the fattest places in America but noooo..
  13. Indian: yeah man, I already got a couple flicks of that. Look a few pages back. You're talkin about that pink/turquois roller they did, right? Yeah, it's somewhere, just look brah. If it's not there, either I posted that shit on Motosoul or the admins deleted my pictures. Oops. Gary. Or Beans. Whichever city you prefer. Cheddar Bob?? Seriously, fr8s, "SmackyTheFrog" was sooooo much doper. Freal. Sincerely, IHaveNoFriendsterQutionerOner
  14. This is what happens when emo kids get ahold of cans of paint and Steel Reserve:
  15. (in reference to Fen's post..) I could be mistaken, but I was under the impression that the Tead/Death stuff started before the MySpace scuffle. Anyways, congrats Lacquer, your work made it into a local rag:
  16. You mud not know who tead eeez! Market Update (Pt. 2): Done.
  17. Here's a Market Update (Pt. 1):
  18. As an aside, anyone seen that Al Wissam commercial where everyone in it is walkin around with those stitched jackets? Every chick in that spot has BOOTY. Not just front to back but side to side as well. I wish more white women had ass like that. :o
