  1. Jesus, I was just about to post that silver/black/blue OAR, TwoFer. I caught that on my way home maybe two days ago. You coulda came up behind me for all I know.
  2. Seeking, Motosoul is working fine for me. Just posted some flicks there earlier. DNS servers could be messed up between you and it.
  3. Don't make me post flicks of A2/Ypsi stuff.. 'coz I will..
  4. Hey red, you got footage of that? I'm always up for seeing kids eating cement. And at least none of "busted stuff" was on freights. Freights are the last thing you should do if you're still shaky. Why? Thousands of people will get to see that you are whack instead of the same ten people that might frequent a small yard you can learn in.
  5. References "eat plastic". And it was a name that I thought that writer took after he left Michigan. Just curious.
  6. "Haaaaaaaaa, ain't that a bitch, I'm ketchup motherfucka. Mustard? Zap yo' dumbass." Hey, Reckless, you didn't happen to put up a sticker in a resale shop in the burbs did you?
  7. Looks like Farms is back and he's taking Downriver by storm, haha.
  8. If I was that Caper, I'd think about getting a new handle. Or at least adding a couple numbers at the end.
  9. Oh shit, that Foto's right next to Giovanni's. So fuckin strange having that nice of a restaurant in a run down area like that.
  10. Found a posting on Craigslist asking for graffiti artists to paint their new barbershop/hair salon. Thought I'd pass it along if anyone need some cash. And why they're doing this and out in Westland, who knows. Shouldn't they be someplace even slightly hip, like Detroit, Royal Oak, or Ann Arbor? EDIT: Yeah, it says no reposting of the message at the bottom of the link. But I'm not reposting the message, only the link to the message. So there.
  11. But I think that a difference between the Interwebz and real life is that you don't always take your friends around to your latest spots every time you paint something. But when you do, its almost always with people that want to see your work and be supportive and such. On here, yeah you probably have some friends but you also have people that would love another reason just to hate on you. Self promo can be seen as one - albeit small - reason to do so because you're basically saying "look what I can do, see!" instead of people finding it on their own, taking a flick, and posting because they think it's sweet or whatevs. But yeah, I agree with you knotsone, I don't give a shit who posts what 'coz I'm not involved in any of the politics and flicks are flicks, stolen or self-promo or not.
  12. More graffiti in a Metro Times article. Except it has nothing to do with graffiti.
  13. SiW, paczki is already plural. No need to add them S's. Paczek is singular. :D
  14. So.. can we be all cordial enough to enjoy some paczki together for one day?
  15. I'll post up a picture or two later to explain my babbling. It deals with the pieces where all the letters are seperated and pretty damn readable. But now that I think about it, around here it's less about "who" than it is about what they produce. Think of the straight-lettered Adors and Armys or some of Deaths older stuff, like him and Foto on Michigan Ave. They've done "normal" fonts but they've done a lot more dope and complex shit that you could never put into a .TTF file, load it up in Word, and then type out a piece of theirs.
  16. Call me a toy or a hater or whatever, but is it just me or is Coupe one of the guys that comes *THIS CLOSE* to pulling off a clean emulation of a certain font styling? It's really picky, yeah, but its something like one of the letters isn't in proper proportion to the rest of them or the 3D is off a bit. I think a couple local writers fall prey to this as well. Feel free to ignore this post just like my other 95 posts. The world would be better if you did.
  17. http://distrowatch.com/ Or go there. There's a list on the side as well that has the top 100 Linux distros. They also provide news about any happenings in Linux distros in the main area there. As far as the external HDD goes, I do believe most come with back-up/syncing software but if you wanted to do a copy & paste type deal, it's cool. If you don't really care about the software, I might recommend buying an internal HDD and putting that thing into an external closure. You'll get more space (around 50 GB) for the same price but end up losing out on the back-up/sync software. I'm sure some of these 'heads would know where you can get freeware/open source software like that, though.
