I've been wanting to see capote for some time now. man bites dog is good...distrubing, but I think everyone should see it at least once.

My gas bill was about $140 this month. It would be more except we've been turning it all the way down when we go out and all the way down when we go to sleep. Then we have a little electric heater on at night in the bedroom. saves some cash, at least. In comparison to last year we've used half the amount of gas, but are paying just as much. messed up. *my electric bill, on the other hand, is never too bad. Yeah, what are you doing?

I think its oldboy, sympathy for mr. vengeance and Lady vengeance as the trilogy. I could be wrong, though. Lady vengeance is coming to the theaters soon.

Microcosmos was awesome. I saw Murderball last night and absolutely loved it. For tonight... I don't recommend it though.

It really sounds like a muscle. It would take way more than coughing to crack your ribs. Sometimes my ribs sound like they crack (between rib and sternum), but its like when i crack my knuckles. Unless you've had rib injuries before, I'd think it was a muscle. go to the doc and get it checked out so at least you know.

Have you guys ever dissected anything? I have dissected: a worm 2 fetal pigs and most recently, a cat. When I had to dissect the pig (about 2 years ago) I almost cried b/c I really, really didn't want to do it. Now I am numb to those emotions. One of the girls in my class opened up her cat and there were fetuses inside. It made me feel pretty bad. Worse part of this whole ordeal. Dissecting the brain and eyeball was pretty neat though. Interesting. Now we are working on the heart/veins/arteries. Next is the digestive tract, but I don't like working in the stomach since there is an abundance of juices. The reproductive system should be interesting, too. It was very morbid, around halloween we had the brain and eyeball quiz and all of the tables had brains and eyeballs scattered about with numbered pins in them. After I get out of class, even though I wear gloves, my hands smell like formaldehyde. gross. I am a vegetarian, so it is kind of strange, maybe even hypocritical that I find these labs interesting. When I'm working on the dissection I almost forget how disturbing this stuff would be to most people. It just doesn't really bother me anymore.

20 degrees right now in chicago (1030am) high of 26. I don't mind it right now, but i know i'll be sick of it by mid-january

$450 a month, split between me and my boyfriend, for a 2 bdrm apartment. not bad, esp for chicago. I get the family discount. The utilities aren't included though, and heat bills will be tough this winter.

I read in the New York times today that 52% of americans think the president has handled this situation poorly. Now I know polls are flawed and bla bla, but I was thinking that percentage should at least be 100 by now.

hahaa. Alright, I thought it was about tits too. Nonetheless, these people are super lame. But it was kind of fun to watch. I just didn't like the sound the cups made. Kind of disturbed me for some reason.
