Walked down to the beach last night for a midnight swim. Woke up and drove the 50 miles to Destin today. Traffic was horrible. Swam for a couple hours and headed back to our spot. Gonna check out another beach tomorrow. Sun burnt like a motherfucker. FullSizeRender.mov

It was good, but I’m an old fashioned hamburger kinda guy. spent last night in Cheaha state park In Alabama. The highest point in the state. Had to stop outside of Birmingham to get some shoes. Only pair I brought got fucked up. As we were leaving I found a $100 bill! Took mostly backroads all the way down Alabama, shit was tight. Stopped in Montgomery to eat and walk around. We made it to Florida. Gonna be here for three days. Didn’t even fully setup, just went straight to the water. Not as refreshing as Alabama mountain water, but still nice. Just been posted up at the campground. Went into Jackson for lunch and stumbled upon this chessie caboose. Headed to Alabama tomorrow.

Can’t remember the last time I saw a piggly wiggly. Made it to the park. Setup camp and went swimming. Now I’m just kicking back, sipping on a cold one.

Last full day in Arkansas. Weather hasn’t been the greatest so far.

First day on the road. Feels nice to get outta hot ass Texas. Three days here in Hot Springs Arkansas, then off to Tennessee. If you've never been to Bucees, I feel sorry for your mother

So my plan is to make it to Savannah and then head down to the panhandle. Gonna stay a night in Alabama. Trying to find some beach camping.

I Have a spot booked there. Didn’t realize until after that you can only camp in an RV. No restrooms are open. Staying at the national park there for three days.

Booked a couple more spots in Arkansas and Tennessee. Think my plan is to make it over to Savannah Georgia, then go from there. It’s kinda up in the air right now. Just booking spots as I find them.

So got laid off. It kinda sucks, but whatever. Since my son is off school as well, I’ve decided to load up my little Jeep patriot and hit the road. Staying primarily In a big tent at campgrounds. Hotel if needed, I’ll prolly need it ha. first spot I have is in Gulf Breeze, Fl. Kick it on the beach camping for a few days. After that we will drive along the gulf to Panama City, then north to Tallahassee. Stay at lake Talquin for a couple days. That's what Ive got booked so far. Georgia and Tennessee will be after that. Looking for recommendations at spots to stay. I’m a hammock and beer Type of camper. My son will happy if there’s water or a basketball hoop. We will have electronics and all that jazzzzzz. Food spots and lowrider stuff also welcomed.
