It makes sense that it would be. You'd have to be pretty thick to commit a crime with any weapon that's been heavily modified. You wouldn't want to have to toss expensive gear either. Ideally? What do I know, just speculating
You're spot on about the typical arguments for banning them. Never made a whole lot of sense. I think it just looks intimidating. It could be argued that its easier to conceal but at that point, does it really matter much?
You're right about that being an entirely different topic though. Id rather just geek out on cool hardware than devolve into arguments of circular logic with anti gun folks.
I could be mistaken but as far as I know, up north where Im at thats a pretty big factor in regards to which ones we can own. Its pretty restrictive in terms of options, shorter barrels are prohibited.
You brought up some really strong points. I never looked at it like that but I gotta say you're absolutely right. Whats the use in acquiring all that trigger time and practice if it's so specialized. That latest carbine you posted in the balling thread looks really light, sexy profile too.
