Maybe @dekayfawill stop by, he’s a big motorsports guy as well. was just talking to him yesterday about a project he has going with Yamaha.

Feel like after the news regarding @Keepitrailthat maybe we should push this thread for a bit. Sucks to have missed the chance to catch up, kick it and laugh just a little bit more. -
The Off Grid living thread (Dropping out the rat race)

So thinking of I can squeeze out a few solid years, something like this will be my next move... Start with a humble, but we’ll considered, minimalist cabin and maybe later put up a beautiful custom home if I had another few good years. Probably have a few friends join me and setup a nice car commune type situation. https://www.zillow.com/homedetails/0-Mammoth-South-Boulder-Rd-Ennis-MT-59729/2079452931_zpid/ -
was looking at this one. just super clean and seems to focus on performance. https://store.artofjiujitsu.com/collections/tech-collection/products/protech-v1-kimono-white?variant=32454317965383

I thought the only gi’s Undefeated had were the collabs they did. Got a link? Not seeing them.

Might be finally joining a local BJJ gym. Got a ton on my plate but trying extra hard to find some life balance and can use the exercise and stress release. Anyhow, probably some friends at various brands I can hit up for a gi, but to avoid looking like a dick since I know nothing about this stuff, what are some quality ones out there? Seen some cool guy shit from We Defy / Undefeated as well as stuff from RVCA / Shoyoroll and have some connects to both, but are they actually any good or hype shit the little kids wear? Also, sizing seems inconsistent and unclear. I’m 6’2” and bounce between 180 - 190. Usually wear pants a touch loose, 36. 34 is usually tight and they don’t make 35. In seam would probably be 32 or 34. Again, depends on brand. So what freakin size gi is that? @Merceryou still taking BJJ classes? @glorydayshow about you?

They are definitely light, but have a pretty bulky feel. Guess I’m used to super lightweight Nike SFB’s, but those lack any support or protection for the most part. You can definitely go distance with these and they are waterproof and supportive, but wish snow caked on and my pants being wet over the top, I was pretty cold. But then again, not really what these were made for... About 9 niches of snow and below 10 degrees. *edited for apples shitty autocorrect.

they’re an awesome for what they’re intended for... Basically a tactical hiker (at least the style I have). They’re super comfortable, tons of support and in general give you a feeling that your feet and ankles are well protected. Obviously not steel toe, but a similar feeling of not having to worry about your feet. Suppose it only matters in situations where you might be worried about that sort of thing. There was probably 9 inches of snow on the ground and we were running around doing stuff where you were sweating in snow. My feet are definitely dry, but also cold. Honestly they’re pretty much fine, but if I was staying out over night, I’d prefer something heavier like Sorel. But then again, nobody would be hiking distances in bricks like that. I can say for sure that those AF1s definitely would not work in the environment I live in unless it was just to wear on occasion when I go out.
-
depends on what you mean by bad weather. Those AF1s look cool, but you’d be miserable in the type of bad weather we have up where I am. In fact, the flick I just posted with Salomon GTX barely cut it in the bad weather I was just in.

some is, but most isn’t. most my land is pasture but the wooded side isn’t as accessible. usually pull timber off public lands. -

Yeah, was kinda crazy in those days to do a catalog. Now it seems so obvious, but even doing a formal sort of mailorder offering for graffiti was like some next level shit. Its a bummer to see what its all become to be honest, but I still have a couple more ideas in me, so we'll see.
