    okay... here's the plan...

    The MixTrader SuperThread

There's nothing like a good dj mix,
so post links to whatever you find.
If you have a great mix as an mp3,
use www.yousendit.com to send it to
youself and post the link in here.
    Got that? Good.

Let's try to focus on underground talent from any genre.
12oz isn't the place for trading FunkMasterFlex mixtapes.
Piracy isn't the plan, building hype and awareness for your
local deejays and spreading the good word is more of the focus.

    to start off:
DJ Matic - The Blue Project Vol 1 (part a)
DJ Matic - The Blue Project Vol 1 (part b)
thanks to saraday for this one.

I get really bored of dance-style mixes but I always have a couple downloaded if I want to listen to a steady flow of background music.

Right now this is what I have:

Josje and Noisia on NauticRadio - 1/29/05 - 188 minutes

EIB on Renegade Hardware - I think from 2003, full mix.

Painkiller - Battlefields, dunno if it's a mix or it's just an album that doesn't stop.

And the only two I haven't deleted in the past few years, dunno who they are, file names:

gt991007-trance - 1999 - Second half is shitty trance but the first half is some crazy fast IDM jungle.

    gt991009-ambient_DnB - 1999

    Anyone wants them IM me.

and bigpops..... I saw Mark Farina play a 5 hour set like 4 weeks ago. it was amazing.

however i saw him for the mushroom jazz 2 tour.. hotness+++

edit: if anyone has a link to mushroom jazz 2 that i can have.. i'd really appreciate it.. i had 2 copies before my cd collection got jacked.

    edit: i'm a jackass

I'm looking for hiphop instrumentals, in mass quantity. If anyone has a stash of instrumentals I'm down to trade. Send me a PM or say something here.
