Talk about fucked up. If this is true and those nurses really did infect 426 CHILDREN, the death penalty would be letting them off easy. Part of me thinks infecting the nurses and the 1 doctor with HIV would be a more fitting punishment.

Then you see this, "Many of the nurses have said they confessed under torture, and western medical experts have testified that the epidemic began before the nurses arrived at the hospital, probably due to poor sanitary conditions." So, who do you believe? Justice only works when truth works.

I've been in a situation where I was interrogated. I can completely understand how someone would confess under torture. You'll pretty much say anything to make it stop.

It sounds like they're holding hostages until they get a new hospital. hah
