You might be a retard if:

  • *Muscle hypotonia, low muscle tone
  • *Flat facial profile, a somewhat depressed nasal bridge and a small nose
  • *Oblique palpebral fissures, an upward slant to the eyes
  • *Dysplastic ear, an abnormal shape of the ear
  • *Simian crease, a single deep crease across the center of the palm
  • *Hyperflexibility, an excessive ability to extend the joints
  • *Dysplastic middle phalanx of the fifth finger, fifth finger has one flexion furrow instead of two
  • *Epicanthal folds, small skin folds on the inner corner of the eyes
  • *Excessive space between large and second toe
  • *Enlargement of tongue in relationship to size of mouth

I hope that you're not trying to make fun of this disease, because it's far from funny.

I hope that my kid's dont have such misfortunes. I don't know if i could handle that as a parent.

No shit? What would you do? Give them up for adoption? Send them away to a "special" home to get looked after, so you wouldn't have to look at their ugly face every day and struggle to understand their retarded speech?

A real parent loves their child no matter what. While i know nobody, including myself, would wish for a child with birth defects, what you're given is a creation made by you and it's your ultimate responsibility. No matter what your child is like, you should love it exactly the same.

yea ofcourse that would be the ideal situation... to love the child no matter what, but i dont know if i could handle having to look at my kid day in and day out. It would break my heart every single time i looked at it.
