There's a whole string of personality traits associated with alcoholism.
    My sister's hardcore AA
    been sober 5 yrs.
    why don't you try stopping.
If you can't, then you might have a problem.

I don't drink all that much.
once in a while i might drink to actually get drunk,
but usually i just chill with a couple of beers and smoke.
with so much alcoholism in my family i try not to get outta hand.

Although when i was 17 i definitely consumed an
over abundance of drugs and alcohol.
    oh, teenage angst.

I had a chemical dependence on alcohol once. after coming home from school I had the shakes for a couple weeks. I had to buy some beer and drink one or two...just so I could get to sleep. scared the shit outta me.

I still drink...but not nearly as much as back then. at least a case a night or every other.

don't hate just because he's having a beer in the morning. I used to work nights. After work a bunch of us would go out and drink...typically around 7 in the morning. I got a kick out of the looks people gave us.

    Step 1
"We admitted we were powerless over alcohol - that our lives had become unmanageable."

    Step2
"Came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity".

    Step3
"Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood him."

And so on................................... "Practical experience shows that nothing will so much insure immunity from drinking as intensive work with other alcoholics. It works when other activities fail."
