Cracked Ass Posted February 7, 2002 Share Posted February 7, 2002 Henry Rollins joined Black Flag way back in the day. Many thought it was the end of the band being good. I do not agree. He was the singer until the band broke up. He then started Rollins Band, which I don't like as much but I still listen to occasionally. On the side he does "spoken word" stuff, which is just him talking to an audience, ranging anywhere from a lecture to storytelling to poetry-type stuff. (I haven't heard his spoken stuff yet so I couldn't say where his emphasis is.) I did hear a Jello Biafra tape, which was more of a lecture, which was on point. Jello is alot more political (duh) and henry talks mainly about personal experiences. that one story about how his friend died may be the worst thing ive ever heard.
