Def controversial, but I wonder if some of that is from fans not being as involved in voting. This year's nominees have been announced and voting is open to fans for the next month I believe. Some nominees you may or may not give a shit about: DEVO RATM THE GO-GO'S TINA TURNER FOO FIGHTERS I'm a Howard Stern fan and some of the guys from the show vote for nominees. It seems to always be more politically charged than anything. And at the rate of inductions, it holds little prestige. The museum has interactive computer stations, they should incorporate that content into their website. I went to see Mavis Staples when she was honored or inducted or whatever. The show was a little off and I think half the attendees were associated with the hall or the bank. But whatever, getting worked up about it is silly. Beastie Boys got inducted that same year, but they didn’t show. I work in production, so I dont get awed by celebrity anymore. I thought I was going to be in unpopular opinion on the Foo Fighters as I'm not crazy about them either. I can see Dave Grohl is talented and seemingly a cool guy, I'm just not moved that way by their music.
