KARE?
yo i just got a magnum.1st time. this thing sucks. the nib is like a hard square. you have to keep it on exactly straight or you get skinny ass lines. and the surface has to be verysmooth or it looks like shit. i tried ruf it up with a nife didnt help much. help any one? dont use magnums there the worst marker on earth simple as that
johnneh7
no, king size sharpies are the worst. but magnums are a close runner up.
stat
2 way zig glues refilled any good?
NayS
if you have a magnum, take the nib out (get some pliers) fill it with some more ink to make it nice n juicy, get a bit of sock, roll it up and fold it in half and stick it where the nib was. you now have a very nice round nibbed marker. it's not rocket science. hydrogenated
so i rcently bought a OTR stred duster worst marker ever 1st of all the paint isnt paint its liquid chalk and its even says its only permanent on fabric and shit like that then i decided to fill it with another ink and guess what the threds are reversed so it took a could of days of tigtning it for me to (for some reason) turn it the opposite way and get it off. not to mention i almost spilled all the ink after i filled it cus i was making sure it was tght and forgot it was reversed and twisted it the wrong way but...... other then that its a good size marker for a pocket (its like a dwarf marker and not a midget) the OTR Streetduster is a great pen! though if ya want a more permanent one get the streetpainter..full of 060 paint.thought for the price of a duster its worth it to have it to just refil with own inks and have a lil concealed pen! JigaboosPigaboos
I dont blame on the run for putting shitty ink in those markers there already super expensive as just plain markers so think about how much more a on the run filled with do em dirty brand new would cost. heirkb
^^^hahaha...stay away from otrs...keep your money. the only marker ive spent real money on was the krink k 71 bleed thru blue. that things sexy and i still miss those 8 bucks... JigaboosPigaboos
There nice valve markers. Id rather get something else if I were mail ordering. But if thats what you want they are nice markers.
nbamlbballer
otrs are worth it if you have some good quality ink, just poke holes in the nib if youre not getting enough flow. by the way does anyone know whether marsh pigment black flows as good as oink/garvey. johnneh7
no they aren't worth it, they are the same bodies as molotow and zigs. id rather buy a molotow marker rather an on the run, and id rather rack a zig than buy anything at all
JigaboosPigaboos
Yeah me too. But if I felt like I wanted a good valve marker. Id get an on the run. Ive used them a few times. Shitty nibs. Shitty ink. Awesome bodys. I like that they seem more durable than a zig. But I still use zigs way more often.
johnneh7
doesnt matter how good the body is if the ink inside sucks and the nib sucks as well.
JigaboosPigaboos
Yeah it does. Cause you put some different ink in. And put in a zig nib. Then theyre awesome.
heirkb
i think they meant that if you empty the ink yourself, then otr is worth it. whatever, i wouldnt buy em. im not even that much of a fan of valve action markers cause you have to use ink and cant use paint. i like mops and shit like that...thats just me tho... o jigaboos beat me to the post so now mine doesnt make sense... WorldBench
i made some home-made ink and put it into my edding 850. i've let it sit for like 6 months cause i don't use it much more, but i went to use it the otherday and the cap was melted to the part with the nib. fucking mineral spirits.
