slipone
if the nib isnt smashed up it writes solid, smooth, cut lines. but I honestly have never used a UNI but i have used a KRink broad line.
eastcoastghost
I love Krink in a mop, but I prefer the Uni PX-30 to the Krink K-71. Plus it's half the price.
GHOST252
what do you mean too thick? ITS PACKED TO TIGHT ITS WILL ONLY WORK WITH INK UNLESS YOU SIT AND BEND THE NIB FOR A BOUT A HOUR

asdf_va!
I love Krink in a mop, but I prefer the Uni PX-30 to the Krink K-71. Plus it's half the price. Those UNI's are now discontinued... You might want to pick up whatever you can find thats on the racks. As far as I last heard, they wont be stocking them anymore. Well not as Uni's at least (correct me if am wrong please). eastcoastghost
That's what I heard, but I wasn't sure how credible that info was. Guess I'll stock up.
asdf_va!
They aren't going to stop making the bodies... But I think it was Sharpie, or one of their subsidiaries, that bought out Uni. They will have the same body, but shitty paint in them. Not the age old Uni formula. Thats the skinny. I can't find any articles on this, but when I looked, all the old stuff made by Sanford Corp that makes the UNI's, is discontinued.
I am myself
Hey, I just came into mad of these perfect sized mops: but the problem is they don't have a cap, if anyone can give me some advice on how to ghetto rig a cap that'd be appreciated
nbamlbballer
come on now think... well if u cant go to like a cvs or look in the shampoo/soap/body wash section and look for caps on like hair sprays and shit then just pop em' off and leave. use tape to make the opening smaller on ur lid. make to use tape that has a good grip, anything but scotch pretty much. hockey tape is the shit though
asdf_va!
^^good call. That's right on. Look for consumer tops off of everyday products. The tape idea is a good one as well. Nice find.
I am myself
I've decided to try to use one of those little shot glass cups that come with cough syrup...I think I'm gonna duct tape it to the mop because the cup is just barely wider than the mop but I feel like that will be such a pain in the ass to uncap/recap
Yuki Nagato
Nah just wrap alot of electrical tape around it so it fits snug!
GHOST252
i would if i could find it is it oil based? IT DEPENDS ON THE BRAND IF ITS OIL BASED IM PRETTY SURE THE SMALL CANS OF KRYLON GLOW IN THE DARK ARE OIL BASED
skirmfirm
I just made two sick chrome streakers Just took a paint pen (skinny one) took out all the valving and old nib filled with a mixture off burnerchrome and whisky (best thinner!) Sliced a 15mm marker tip into 4, and slightly pointed one end, wedged it into the top and use pliers to pull it down till about 3mm was showing, then turned the marker over and slowly the tip went silver, now its perfect consistency with drips if you hold it upside down for bit first :)
skirmfirm
heres what i was monaing about, cant get drips at all using basically corio and grogg mix in these smaller ones a carhart bombing marker the other is just a 20mm same valving i guess.#
asdf_va!
^^I know people say they get drips, but seriously... I don't know to many people actually use this style of marker. They are all the same. If you want sweet drips you need to use a mop. Not a marker. OR... You can get an empty marker, like above, and only use ink in it. Poke some holes through the nib straight down and maul the end of the nib so its not flat and sharp. Then you can get drips... But still not like what most people want. Ink drips. Paint doesn't unless it's in a mop. And all these OTR/Molotow pump drip markers will not produce the drips you want if you buy them straight up. They come with shitty paint in them and you need to have super in in them. If you want to a drippy marker/mop... Get one of THESE or THESE. Fill it with some of THIS or THIS Also... DED is coming out with his own mop too! You want drips, and messy tags to work with?? Use those links. Good luck. Stay up.
androidx
I think that should be reposted on every page of this thread. That's all the info that anyone ever needs to know. I hope most people will read that so there won't be anymore retarded posts. Props asdf!
I am myself
Nah just wrap alot of electrical tape around it so it fits snug! Do you mean to say wrap electrical tape just around the cap so it doesn't touch the actual mop?
androidx
Throw it in a ziplock bag. Done.
asdf_va!
Do you mean to say wrap electrical tape just around the cap so it doesn't touch the actual mop? Not the cap. Find a cap that fits over the marker. Then wrap the tape on the body of the marker to make the cap fit snug on the marker.
johnneh7
basically make the marker fatter with the tape
