Someone else found that mop, I considered using it but with the leaking and the plugging of holes I just couldn't be fucked. hahahahaha spot on. ive got a theory that if i keep it upright i can pull it off tho! Is there a way of pluggin them holes up is there?
Bruce_1nR
Could someone help me out with the chapstick marker? My chapstick tube has a little plastic ring that goes around the sprial thing in the middle so when you twist the bottom it pushes the stick up...do I throw that out? And also...where do I apply the candle wax at? Or is there some other way of securing the bottom so it wont leak? The reason I want this fucking thing to work is I really want a smaller tip marker that will still drip down...is there a better way to acheive this? On1: Do you have pictures of the product or the actual marker you made?
asdf_va!
BRUCE: Just go back to page one. It describes every thing step by step. SKIM: Take some foam/sponge and roll it between your thumb and forefinger and make it a skinny roll of sponge and put those in the hole and let them unroll and they will stay in there. That will regulate the flow MUCH better. I would keep in a plastic sandwich bag and upright when you carry it. But this technique works really well with INK, but not so much with paint mixes. Bruce_1nR
I did look on page one...No joy. I'm really wondering about the candle wax and the plastic ring.... Maybe even a better thing to write with...but chapstick marker sounds fresh.

asdf_va!
BRUCE: Go back about 4 or 5 pages, or look up Sk8er's posts. He shows a great marker that he made out of push pop that puts the chapstick idea to shame. You might like it a lot. He also has really easy directions for making it. Good luck! Post flicks of yours. fltblackoverchrome
Ok , I need suggestion , tips , advice... I just picked up one of those art primo bingo dabbers , the white ones with the little dabber nib.... opened it up , sprayed some paint in it from a scrap can , popped the top back on , and touched it to a board in my room... THE SECOND IT TOUCHED THE BOARD , ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. I guess its got kinda a pump action , but when its depressed , it actually explodes with ink/paint like a little fire extinguisher. Paint got all over EVERYTHING. Ive never seen a marker explode with ink/paint like that , and Ive used most of them , so I was wondering if anyone had ideas... maybe ink shoots out less....? its mad cool for drips , but like too much , it kust shoots a huge splatter and would probably cover the user like a ink bomb at the bank. help.... ::::washes paint off::::
on1
hahaha well dude if u opened it u would notice there is no pump valve cause it basically is a bingo daubber and the reason i think why it shot out was because u got your paint from a spray can...u shot all the pressure in there also so thats prolly why try some garvey or ghetto krink i bet u wouldnt get the same result

Ive seen people use paint in mops before , but Ive only used inks.... Its really funny as hell how much paint this thing shoots out.... If you are right Id be happy tho. thanks , ez.
johnneh7
no paint really does have to sit for a while when you spray down it takes gasses with it, you didn't notice the bubbling?

Use some bucket paint and add a bit of thinner to it. Pour that in and I guarantee you will have better results. (Hoping that you know how to thin paint to a correct amount)

KARTOONKILLA
i just copped two of these today and need to know how to turn them into a drip marker...i have heard many people use them...i tried once and the nips that they come with rip off really easy and would like to know do you replace the nip with something..if you do what do you replace it with...i tried with the nip once and the paint and orginal nip color mixed and it fuck up the color....if anyone can help me please tell me what to do thanks alot
PudMiester
"i tried with the nip once and the paint and orginal nip color mixed and it fuck up the color...." what? no just fill it with some ink or thinned out paint, and if you can give it a good squeeze as you write with it, u should get some nize dripz. does that help? sk8er6
thanks asdf_va! yeah, i just made another push pop yesterday. Bruce_1nR: the person asking about chapstic markers: stick a pen down the tube of the chapstic on the spindle. if it still doesnt pull out all the way, stick a pen and pry off the wheel with a key or coin. go down the spindle and at the bottom where the threads stop, cut. .............|\|.... .............|\|.... .............|\|....}threaded spindle .............|\|....cut here ............[...]...clip .........[|||||||]wheel jam the wheel back into the tube. now get a lighter, or a empty tin can and a stove, and melt wax and pour it into the tube. if the wax leaks, don't worry, thats actually a good thing. NEVER SPIN THE SPINDLE EVER AGAIN. Once the wax cools(after about 20 minutes in the fridge to be safe) stuff your nib in there and soak it with ink. good luck. btw, most chapstic markers dont drip. flatblackoverchrome: yes, spraypaint is like soda. this is the fastest way to depressurize it. 1 get a heavy ass fatcap (like montana level 5's) and spray the can upside down untill all the gas escapes. Any cap, or even a pen tube will work, but fatcaps get the job done faster. 2 pop the can and pour into a coke bottle and close the cap. 3 shake it and open cap to release gas. 4 repeat as neccessary until you can no longer see or hear gas escaping. good luck, and try not to shun peoples advice. Most people, with the exception of smooth nuts, know whats up.

nbamlbballer
i hate mops with paint in them, they never work for me. I've done the chalkboard felt, bingo dabbers, kiwis, and otr's. I just stick with paying the high price for inks cuz they flow and theyre the shit, im just mad cuz i made 4 mops last night and when i shake them paint goes everywhere, maybe i gotta fix the consistency, ill be back.
