King Of Hell
Rat Race video is on VH1 Classics right now. I was never really into ska, but I do like The Specials. Makes me feel young again.

Guest R@ndomH3ro
Grosse Pointe Blank was a pretty good movie. The Specials always make me think of that classic Cusak movie.
26SidedCube
Grosse Pointe Blank makes me think of the actual city of Grosse Pointe. Then that makes me think of a shitload of people on heroin in the mid-90's. Then I think of Seattle. Which leads to this bag of coffee I saw in Starbucks this morning for $9/hlf.lb. Basically it's like, is $18/lb a good price for some 'premium' coffee or can you just go to a 'beanery' and pick up some even better shit for $12/lb? PushbuttonWarfare
I was talking to some dude the other day and he brought up a writer who used to listen to ska back in the mid-90's. It made me remember standing outside the local club to check out hot ska girls and making me wish I could stomach the music.
RumPuncher
you know who I've rediscovered (thanks to a garage sale record score) ? UB40 there's so much more to them than that one high school dance song. (you know the one)

Although I have a new appreciation for "Red Red Wine" since I don't hear it often at all anymore, but yeah, their catalaogue as pretty awesome. Good background music for drawing or for having people over.
RumPuncher
^ that's the one I found at a garage sale and paid less then $0.50 for it. Great tunes, and like you said, it's great background music for entertaining.
