Guest fr8lover Posted February 13, 2006 Share Posted February 13, 2006 there might be a double standard if the kid said it first and the teacher was merely trying to point out the absurdity of the word itself. however, if you're a teacher and you want to keep your job in this day in age, DON'T USE THAT WORD OR ANY VULGAR WORDS IN ANY CONTEXT! people out there are just waiting for a reason to cause a stir in the media and in the courts today, so if dude just kept his mouth shut instead of saying "nigga" (and he's an authority figure who really should just keep that word out of his mouth in general at his job, regardless of whether he ended it in -er or -a) in front of a classroom of vindictive kids. The kid just doesnt like his teacher and he saw an opportunity to get at him. Yes, it was a bitch move. I almost feel sorry for the teacher because this thing is being blown out of proportion.
