I guess the 2 contributing factors were that the driver had missed a stop, went back and proceeded to travel too fast to the next stop. JR has a policy/history of being one of the most punctual trainlines in the country. The 2nd factor Ive been told is that somebody placed some rocks on the track as well. Lethal combinations..
