Like Tattoo from Fantasy Island, he said "Smiles Everyone! 19 days left!". The only weapon left in the Bush campaign arsenal is the word LIBERAL. Awkwardly enough, yesterday was the day the nation hit our legal debt ceiling and had to start borrowing from federal employees' pensions. Bush is calling Kerry a liberal, but he's the one who's BUSTED the budget worse than any other president in US history. Forcing our congress to legally raise the debt ceiling 3 times in 3 years. seeking Posted October 15, 2004 Share Posted October 15, 2004 well, in his 'defense' he'll just say that was because of 9.11/iraq, and that we're at 'war' so of course our spending will be higher. the fact that we're in an unecessary war doesn't matter. i wish while kerry was talking about bush's fiscal irresponsibility, he would have mentioned the contracts in iraq to hailburton and others. telling the quick story about how bush's people were paying $15million dollars for a cement factory that was actually built for $80,000. give the americans another $200 hammer to be pissed about. that's somethign they can totally relate to in every way. All in all, fuck the press. They got tricked into playing it up as if it's a big issue and have now completely changed the discussion from Bush's incompetence in the debate to Kerry calling a woman what she is - a lesbian.
