INK RECIPE SUPERTHREAD

rubbish heap

Recommended Posts

Dude, as you can see in my post count, I am not posting a lot, I read a lot.

I read almost the whole thread (made it to the end with hopping over some pages because of the DED-fight you had here) two months ago, it took me about two weeks. The sad thing is that I bought bucket paint NOW, not two months ago and I don't remember almost anything about bucket paint written here. I only remember someone wrote something about thinning paint with alcohol, so I simply asked over, okaaay?

Still, thanks, my cheap-cheap paint is not oil-based, so I'll be smarter next time...

Story:

I just finished taking a shower and decide to chek my nycmop and shyt was drippin on me and the ink inside is a mix of pilot and garvey.

Question:

dont think this has been covered yet but, what is a fast way to clean ink from your hands? usually i just use soap and a rough sponge to get the ink off.

Would it be ok to add black garvey ink to DO-EM-DIRTY?? I got a bunch of the black garvey, and if I could add that to the DED, it would last alot longer.

^^Oh yes! It works great! You can even do half and half.

It works, and you get more bang for your buck... so to speak.

Good luck!

Get some of that soap with the grit stuff in it. Works like a charm. I'm not at home and don't remember the name of the kind I have, but I'm assuming any of that kind will do.

I found this synthetic sponge/pumice at the

beauty shop. Yes... I was at the beauty shop.

It was the size of a bar of soap, and bright yellow.

Nothing special, other than it falls apart after a while,

but it's a good thing. Otherwise it would have cut the

shit out of me. Anyway... this stuff works for ANY stain

or paint I have had on my hands, arms, anywhere.

Don't even need soap. Just water. Soap helps... but

I don't even know if there is a brand name. They use

it on feet that have callouses. Check it out. It works fast!

Just keep in mind that it's not a soap. Just a really

scratchy bar. Looks soft, but its not. Bright yellow, and made

to soften the bottom your feet. No soap needed.

EDIT:It works so well because it is seriously taking the top

layer of your skin off. But it's ok... Your skin might get a little

red for a few minutes, then its ok. And you get super soft bankers

hands that the ladies LOVE!
